Disclaimer: I do not own the 100. I just own the OC.

A/n: Hey guys. So this is my first 100 one-shot. It's a one-shot for now as I don't really have any plans to continue it into a story. I just wanted to write this for my writer friend, Anna Becker, because she's amazing and has helped me through really tough times. So, enjoy! It's a Bellamy/OC.

Title: Under the Radar

Summary: Emma Smoke lost everything. Her entire family was floated off the Ark, except for her seventeen-year-old brother who was going to the ground. When Bellamy tells her the news, she makes a decision that she'd never make in a million years, too afraid to get floated herself. (Bellamy/OC one shot) (S1)

Emma stacked her papers together and placed them on the corner side of her desk. Those tests were all graded and set, ready to hand out tomorrow for her students. She looked across her small classroom and saw that her students were working hard on their writing assignments. A small smile played on her lips, noticing how into their writing assignments they were. She'd worked hard to get to where she was at this moment in her life. After she took her exit exam, she realized that at twenty-two years old she had a passion for teaching and loved it.

There was a slight knock on the door, making her look up. Her blue eyes landed on Bellamy Blake. She bit her bottom lip curiously, brushing her red hair out of her eyes, holding it back with the palm of her hand. The look on his handsome face was anything but pleasant and she started to worry. The once calm atmosphere in her classroom had soon turned dread.

Her eyes slanted toward her students and she slowly got up from her desk, feeling her legs drag across the metal floor. She was his neighbor on the Ark. She lived next to him. She kept secrets for him when no one else did, and vice versa at least until however long he could.

"What is it?" She asked in a soft whisper. She could feel her lips trembling with fear.

Bellamy didn't want to say it, but he had no choice. He had to find out when the drop ship was going down that was going to have his sister inside of it.

Then she realized what was happening and she narrowed her eyes at him.

"Bellamy, no, no, he doesn't turn eighteen for like three more months," Emma shook her head vigorously.

"Shh, shh," Bellamy said, keeping an eye on her class as they looked up in alarm, hearing her worries.

She bit her bottom lip and he gently encased her elbow within the palm of his hand, pulling her outside of her classroom and into the hallway of the Ark.

"He's not being executed," Bellamy said firmly. She swallowed hard and looked into his eyes with apprehension that gripped her whole. "I found out that he and O are being sent to the ground."

Emma's eyes bulged, wide-eyed. "What?!" She asked in alarm. "But they get reviewed at eighteen, Bell. This doesn't make any sense."

"Keep your voice down," he shushed her, glancing around him in case he had any more guards wandering around. "The rules have changed. This gives your brother a chance to live."

Emma felt a slight ounce of hope pierce her heart.

"When does that happen?" Emma asked.

"Soon. They're preparing the drop ship for take off," Bellamy said. "Thought you'd want to know."

"Thank you," she said and wrapped her arms around him, catching him completely off guard by her sweet gesture. She was always nice to him, polite, more than most people on this ark. She pulled apart when she realized that he wasn't hugging her back. Maybe she'd come off too strongly. She smiled a bit and cleared her throat.

Bellamy nodded. "For keeping my secret as long as you could," he said.

Emma looked up into his eyes and she nodded as well. Of course. She remembered when he let Octavia go to that mascaraed party on Unity Day. She remembered when she got caught and when his mother got floated. That was a year ago. She'd been there for him as much as she could, especially when he was there for her when her family got floated for the things they'd done and when her brother got caught stealing. He had no choice but to put him away when he was caught red handed, stealing from the medicine cabinet.

Hearing the news that her brother was going to the ground, going back to Earth…gave her a new sense of being. It also made her realize that she might never see him again, her only family she ever had left. And that worried her. What was she going to do? What was Bellamy going to do? Octavia would be going down with her brother too with the rest of the one hundred delinquents.

And if the air is toxic down there….she couldn't let him go down there all by himself. She needed to protect him.

"I can't let him do this alone," Emma said, hearing the fear tremble out of her lips. Her eyes danced upon Bellamy's face and he nodded solemnly at her. She had to protect her brother. He was her only family that she had left.

"My thoughts exactly," he said, thinking about Octavia.

"You got a plan?" She asked.

He slightly grimaced. "Not a good one."

Emma's face hardened, determined. Emma's sweet demeanor disappeared. "I don't care."
