Hey guys! Vannah here! This is my newest fanfiction, and I really think you'll enjoy it! I can't wait until the plot really gets into action, for now, it's just the Prologue and Rising Action and stuff. Enjoy 3 :)

Cherry's P.O.V.

I bolted through the forest, dodging trees by inches. My father darted after me, claws unsheathed. He was out to kill me. I was only six moons. I knew my father hated our family. He had already killed my mother, and sister already. My brother and I had escaped; for now. He and I had gone opposite directions running, and planned on meeting back in the den after this was over. But I didn't think it would be over anytime soon. He'll be okay I doubtfully thought. My mind drifted as I ran, and suddenly I slammed into a tree. Everything went black...

I woke up, breathing heavy. My pelt was blotted with red stains of blood, and I winced. Everything hurt. I didn't know if it was my father or the tree. I then realized that I wasn't dead, and I wasn't in my den. It smelled of some sort of rogue, but who? Suddenly a head poked in the den. I unsheathed my claws, and my hackles blew up along my spine.

"Calm down" chuckled the tomcat, who was now standing in front of me.

"I saved your life, I don't think I would do anything to hurt you. You're already beat up enough. That leg of yours is broken, plus that cat chasing you got you a little before I came." he mewed. I blinked.

"Thanks..." I muttered. The mysterious cat let out another small giggle.

"So what's your name?" I asked.

"Name's Dipper." the tom mewed.

"Um cool.. Mine's Cherry." I responded quietly. I was still unsure of this cat, and was cautious around him.

"So what exactly.. um.. happened?" I asked, confusion merging with my voice.

"Well.." Dipper responded.

"You hit a tree, and the cat came and scratched you up pretty bad. I'm not sure which one broke your leg, I just glimpsed at what happened, then came over and chased the tom away... Who was that anyways?" he asked.

"If you don't mind answering.."

"That was my father.." I said faintly. I really didn't want to talk about my father too much. I was hoping Dipper didn't ask anything more on him, so I stayed quiet. My eyes were still heavy with sleep, and I was wicked tired from all the stress from earlier. I gave a sigh of relief when he dropped the topic.

"You were out for a while. How do you feel, Cherry?" Dipper asked, and I just shrugged.

"Okay I guess. My leg is a bit sore, but I'll live... I'm super hungry though." I purred at the end. Dipper's eyes lit up and he nodded, padding quickly to the other side of the den. He looked pretty... Young... I wouldn't think my father would back off from a younger cat, but I guess I didn't want to know the details. Dipper came back a shrew, and I smiled.

"Thanks so much." I said.

"One more question... How old are you?" I asked.

"Twelve moons." he responded. My eyes bulged out of my face. My father back down from a cat only twelve moons old?!" Dipper just looked at me, and gave a nod. I wasn't sure if he was really listening closely.

"My dad would never do that! He would never back away from any cat! Especially a 12 mooned cat!" I mewed in alert. "What if he-" I was cut of by growling and hissing outside of the den. I knew that scent, and I gasped, and I crouched into my nest whimpering.

How was that?! DUNDUNDUN WHAT'S THAT SOUND OUTSIDE THE DEN TAKE YO GUESSES. LOL. R&R!
