What is a heart?
Should I care?
You've convinced me to drop my mask
And ask
Do I need a heart to live?
And possibly love?
Ridiculous!
I've been doing fine without one
Why should I start now?
It only leads to further pain
Pain that can kill a person
With no trace left behind
To know the cause
But the person who caused it
I ask again
What is the need for a heart?
Surely, I would like to know
