Hi guyssss! School has got me really stressed so I forgot about this. New story! Yay!
Katniss POV:
"Katniss, we're leaving in a few hours." I hear Prim whisper.
"I'm up." I whisper back, opening my eyes.
"Are you all packed?" She giggles.
I nod and take out my phone, it isn't the best phone, but it's a phone. I call my best friend Gale to see if he wants to go to The Hob, my favorite thrift store. I'm not very wealthy, so I save all my money and use it on Prim, while I tell my mom to go buy something for herself. It's not like my mom ever cared about us, we are only going to boarding school because my mom feels bad for us.
"Hey Catnip!" Gale says.
"Hey, wanna go to The Hob? Last time for a while." I reply.
"Yeah, sure, I'll meet you there." He says, I already feel upset about leaving, but he has to take care of everyone.
I hang up and head out. "I'll be home in two hours." I tell Prim and my mom.
"Okay!" Prim says.
I head out to The Hob, and see Gale talking to Greasy Sae.
"Hey." I say quietly.
Gale just hugs me while Sae just nods.
We talk and when it's time to go, I hug Gale and Sae goodbye.
"I don't want you to go." Gale says as we walk home.
"I know." I whisper.
I hug him goodbye and Prim and my mom have my bags. We put them in the truck and we all go to the boarding school. I kiss my mom goodbye promising I'll call her.
