Her eyes remind me of the sea,
So blue, so beautiful, so free.
She walks by the shore at night,
No doubt to see the pale moon's light.
The gleam in her eyes shines with pride.
Pride of knowing where I hide.
The day I approach was frightful for me,
Yet she smiled and heard my plea.
I offered power and I offered gems,
She wants nothing but an animal on land.
I try desperately for a gift for her.
Every time she asks for more.
She's worth it though, her heart's so true.
Her eyes reassure me, those eyes so blue.
The gift I make, my final try
Is a horse so pure and white.
She loves it, this I can see,
But I do not think she truly loves me.
Only then do I see what she knew,
She would soon be the mother of a child of Zeus.
