Prologue
Russ Webb hardly ever watched TV, he always did everything on his computers. But here recently, since a powerful hacker, Aiden Pearce, started becoming the center of attention, Russ watched the news constantly.
Aiden Pearce, as far as Russ could tell, developed a program on a phone, which allowed him to hack into anything and everything controlled by the CTOS. Russ tried to recreate this, but could only do so on tablets and computers, not smart phones. The results weren't the same, as he didn't have access to CTOS Towers, like Aiden did. Russ was not a fighting kind of man. But he could still hack ATM's, laptops, public wi-fi hotspots, and some cars. Russ could get easy access to laptops when they were connected to public wi-fi. The codes sent out by the public routers created a gap in a laptop's firewall; not big enough to plant a virus, but enough to allow Russ to go through files. A lot of info could be found that way, including passwords and social security numbers.
Unfortunately, the coding of Russ's system created large loop holes for people like Aiden Pearce, who would eventually hack Russ, and clear out his bank account and ruin his credit. This would make a desperate man out of Russ. So much so that Russ would kill his first man, join a mob known as The Club. He would soon become a slave to money, hacking, and much more. Oh, how the consequences of hacking hurts.
