Just a short poem that without rhyme. Written to express my love for the most awesome character in any manga.

WHAT THEY BOTH SAW

He was the devil personified.
His maligned smile reflects in her forgiving tears.
She can't believe that he would even see her,
Beyond his track of endless bullets.
They talk one day,
Really talk.
-Not of hopes or dreams or in-betweens,
But what would be if they won.
His eyes glisten and gleam,
And he forgets he shouldn't reveal what consumes his soul.
She can't keep her eyes off his sharp little canines.
She wishes that he would sincerely smile at her.
She wants to run her hands through his blond spikes.
Tug at his many piercings.
She feels too much.
And cares too much.
She knows it will be her downfall.
But he chooses her,
To bring them to victory.
He knows she will never deliver anything less,
Than the utmost perfection.
He divides his load with her,
And he treats her more civil than he treats anyone else.
He knows she watches him with especial interest.
But he turns a blind eye.
For the devil was afraid,
Of falling in love
With an angel.
