Space. The only thing she had seen for solar cycles straight. It certainly wasn't a bad thing; the universe contained many wonders, and this galaxy in particular had her marveling at it often, but she was dangerously low on Energon. Though she had seen several natural formations, she didn't have the resources to harvest it. Besides, it was beautiful.
The pale blue femme sat down on a small meteor circling the planet before her. Though she had seen it many times throughout the stellar cycles, she still felt overwhelmed by the beauty of all things organic. She loved how the blue of the oceans contrasted with the land, and how creatures smaller than a servo could survive in a society all of their own. She loved the white caps of the planet, which were covered in snow…
"Snowmist."
Saying her name out loud made her realize how long it had been since she had spoken to anyone. Almost as if she were looking for another bot, she noticed silver glints covering the landscape: buildings. They were too small to be Cybertronian or the likes. A Minicon colony, perhaps? Snowmist thought.
Upon closer inspection, she noticed the style was unlike anything she had ever seen before. The buildings were very plain and rectangular, and many of the smaller structures looked more organic than metal.
Snowmist hesitated before going to investigate. She was low on Energon, and could try and find an Autobot base rumored to be in that system. Still, she couldn't contain her curiosity for the odd planet. She figured that taking her chances on exploring it would satisfy that curiosity, and was safer than being at the mercy of a possibly hostile base. But talking to someone would be nice. Though, even if there aren't any bots or even signs of intelligent life, at least I'll have organics to keep me company…
She sighed, half of her glad that this planet seemed to be a peaceful one, half of her wishing she could go back to company, back to friends, before… it… happened… Snowmist tried to shake the thought from her head. Instead, she focused on a city below her, and transformed and started flying towards it.
After several cycles of flying, Snowmist entered the atmosphere of the planet. She could definitely see organics moving around, but, curiously, there were vehicles large enough to be some type of Transformer, but there were no robots in sight. There must be a law that prevents them from transforming, she thought as she looked around for compatible vehicle. A compact jet with a tube-like chassis and a pair of spinning propellers at the front flew close to her, and she scanned it. She could have sworn she saw an organic sitting inside, but didn't think about it for long, because the nanoklik her body adjusted to the new alternate mode, she realized she had made a mistake.
The last of her energy had been used up in the act. Her boosters lost all power, and her altitude was dropping faster, and faster, and her equilibrium chip was malfunctioning. She veered away from the city, and instead headed toward the ocean. She flailed her arms helplessly as her screeching filled the air, "I'M FALLING! I'LL GO OFFLINE! HELP!" She tried to go up, but didn't know if she was going up or even could go up, even if her flight was disabled, all of the while, the thought pulsed through her processor, I DON'T WANT TO GO OFFLINE! I CAN'T GO OFFLINE! And as the ground seemed to fly towards her, a great pain jolted through her, and darkness settled over her, her last thought just barely floated of her grasp: I'm offline…
