~ I Hin Eldaron ~
For sunlight, basket amber-wove
A crown above the fairest face
Of valley, hill, of plain and grove
Her care is spent; an endless store
Behind her, there is seen no trace
Of footfall, only life she strove
To love as children of her race
The life of land forevermore
Her eyes are green as newborn tree
Its surface glinting, bright of hue
Astir with feeling, leaping sea
Embedded with a certain song
A melody of ocean blue
Of eagles diving, ever free
The earth rejoices, she knows who:
The dancer of her land for long
Beneath the grass and finest sands
A pebble hears Andorëiel
The Elven daughter of the lands
And Dwarves a-mine will hear her voice
Within the soil, they do tell
And there they take it in their hands
A soul of white, Andorëiel
The maiden Elf of Arda's choice
Her skin as white as fallen snow
Untainted by an evil mark
The purest heart her face does show
She dances under fall of light
The sister of the shadows dark
The shift of earth she'll ever know
From rivers to the mountains, hark!
Andorëiel is singing bright
