Goodnight everybody. See you tomorrow," Jack yelled as he headed to his office.

"Good night, Jack," the team said as they headed home.

"Finally… quiet. Now I can get some work done."

About an hour later Jack heard footsteps on the far side of the Hub. He got up, grabbing his gun from the right desk drawer, and tiptoed out of his office. As he cocked his gun, he hoped that the clicking sound wouldn't alert the intruder; he then headed towards where he had heard the footsteps, making sure he had the intruder cornered.

"Freeze!" he yelled, his gun pointed at a very frightened Ianto, who was simply throwing out the trash.

"Sorry sir I didn't know you wanted to keep the trash. I thought we throw the trash out, but I have been known to be wrong." Ianto said quickly and nervously, as if it wasn't that big a deal to have a gun pointed at his face.

"Ianto, what are you still doing here? I could have killed you!" Jack said with a little worry in his voice.

"I had a little cleaning up to do. I didn't know that everyone else had left. Sorry, sir," Ianto said in his official tone.

"It's fine that you are still here, but maybe next time you could tell me or something," Jack said, putting away his gun.

"So, since we are both here would you like to go to out, sir?" Ianto asked adding the "sir" because he knew it annoyed Jack.

"One, don't call me sir. Two, I guess we could catch a movie and then get a late dinner."

"If it is alright with you I would like to throw this trash away," Ianto said in the serious tone that always made Jack laugh.

"Come on," Jack said grabbing onto Ianto's hand and smiling that trademark smile of his.

Ianto was sitting in the dark, regretting the decision to let Jack pick the movie. Of course Jack would pick a scary movie only because he knew Ianto didn't like them. Ianto didn't want to hold onto Jack's hand quite so tightly or grab onto his shoulder to hide so much, he just couldn't help it. Ianto could tell even in the dark a smile was permanently fixed on Jack's pretty little face. Jack thought it was a wonderful movie choice.

"So did you enjoy the movie?" Jack asked, once they had been seated at the restaurant, Jack was smiling the smile that always made Ianto's knees go weak.

"You know that I didn't, just like you know I don't like those movies." Ianto said, glaring at Jack, trying his best to appear angry.

"I love it when you're angry because I get to hear those beautiful Welsh vowels," Jack said laughing a little. "So, your place or mine?"

"Mine, seeing as 'your place' is a tiny hole in the ground located in your office."

"Very true, that's why I love you Ianto."

"Yeah Jack." Ianto said brushing it off not taking Jack serious.

"No Ianto, I really love you. Jack pressed his lips to Ianto's, not even giving him time to respond to the bombshell he had just laid down.

"I love you too, Jack," Ianto replied after he had broken the kiss for air.

They took a stroll after dinner, both contemplating that their relationship had just gone to the next level. Jack couldn't be happier and neither could Ianto.
