Rating: PG
"He had a point you know."
"Excuse me?"
"He had a point. You being in this cage and he being on the outside." The blonde paused, walking to the bars to look in on Angelus. Pursing her lips she frowned down at him. Her eyes darkening with something akin to anger and dissapointment.
"Oh I'm sure other than coming up with some witty overused insult to use on me, he did." Angelus watched her shimmy through the bars and walk over to him. Sitting close and sliding her hand down to his thigh. He shivered at the deathly cold touch.
Darla stroked his hair and shook her head. "They think you're insane..."
"Who says I'm not? I'm talking to you. ..You're dead."
"I've been dead for a long time, Angelus. You make it sound like a new occurence."
"Considering past events --"
"Shh." She whispered and pressed two fingers to his lips. Looking at him, blue eyes met dark angry ones. She smirked and began to speak. "I remember a time when you would have been the one on the outside. Letting them watch as you destroyed. As you rebuilt the world to your liking. You and William would use their family for recreation. They wouldn't know what hit them."
"Things change. He caught me off guard."
"Bullshit. Take charge, change the situation to your benefit. Make me proud." Darla hissed in return, eyes narrowing once more to angry stits.
"Make you proud...?"
"You can do it. I know you can."
"For you, Sire, I'll do anything." The words escaped his lips like a hiss of cold air. And with it, taking away the image of his beautiful Darla. "For you, I'll take this world to hell."
"Who is he talking to?" Connor frowned, staring at the t.v. with a black and white image of Angelus within his cage.
Cordelia smiled eerily behind him, listening as Angelus started to sing. "His first master."
