Disclaimer: I don't own anything except the tribe's people and Xanzar.
Standing at the edge of a cliff was a white haired boy wearing tribal clothes. He was the age of sixteen but unlike other boys his age, he was the leader of a tribe. His tribe was just trying to survive against the world, against those who threatened them.
'My tribe…' he thought. The tribe depended on him many times in the past and this time is no different, except for one thing. They had to leave their home for their enemies had found them. If they didn't leave, they would surely die.
A voice alerted the leader from his thoughts and he turned to who was there.
"Sir, do we really have to leave our home?" The man, Lupe, asked.
"Yes we do, Lupe. We have no other choice," the leader said.
"But Ryou, there must be some other way-" Lupe was cut off by his leader.
"We've been over this Lupe," Ryou said. "There is no other way."
"But…maybe we could try to reason with them," Lupe said. "Like how Bakura did."
Ryou turned his back to Lupe. "My father was a fool. He tried to reason with them and all they did was stab him in the back."
The leader was at an altar and knelt down. Placing a piece of gold at the foot of the altar, he lit a fire while praying to his god.
"Xanzar, the god of our tribe, I pray to you on the night before our tribe leaves and offer gold in your honor."
Suddenly the voice of Xanzar spoke from the altar.
"I accept your offer and as a gesture of my kindness I will transform this gold into something magical," the voice of Xanzar spoke. "It shall be called the Sennen Ring."
"The Sennen Ring?" The leader asked.
"Yes," Xanzar said. "However it will be hidden in the land of Egypt for many years."
The gold started to shape shift into a ring shape with pointers dangling from it. In the center were the pyramid and the eye that could be seen on the altar.
"This ring shall serve as an artifact from our tribe's home once we are long gone," Ryou said.
"Indeed," Xanzar said. "However, the spirit of your father is sealed within the ring so not everyone will be completely gone."
"I request of you, Xanzar, that the descendant of me who shares my name and looks like me may be cursed to keep the ring until his death," Ryou said.
"Why wish that upon your own flesh and blood?" Xanzar asked.
"It's nothing to do with being against my descendant. It's because my father will be forced, everyday, to see the son that he left behind."
