Gobusters: Hiromu/Yoko

Ch 1

After a Year

The Gobusters have been fighting the Vaglass for about a year now and changes have begun to happen in Hiromu and Yoko's relationship. It started out with the two of them not really getting along. Then as time went on they become good friends, but in the last few months both have begun to feel something different for each other.

One day Yoko bumped into Hiromu and dropped some papers. Hiromu helped her pick them up. While picking up the papers Hiromu noticed they were papers from Yoko's school.

"Trying to get someone else to do your homework again?" Hiromu said.

"It wasn't like that I did it all this time myself!" Yoko said.

"Relax I was just joking. Got tired of Usada's scolding?" Hiromu said jokingly

"He would still scold me even if I did do it myself."

This caused them both to laugh.

"Here." Hiromu said while handing her the paper.

"Thanks."

Silence came between the two of them then Hiromu's heart began to beat as fast as he could run.

"Well I better get going I have to help tune up Nick." Hiromu said.

"Yeah and I have to get these papers ready." Yoko said.

Actually Nick was fine, Hiromu was actually riding him.

While riding Nick spoke up. "Hey Hiromu are you okay?"

"What do you mean?"

"Your mind just seems to be somewhere else today."

"It's nothing really."

"Hm I wonder."

Hiromu then stopped by the hill where He, Ryuji, and Yoko made their promise.

"Okay Hiromu I know something is on your mind so tell me already." Nick said.

Hiromu sighed. "I'm thinking about Yoko."

"You've been doing that a lot lately." Nick said. "And to think you both started off always arguing with each other."

"Did we really?" Hiromu asked.

"You don't remember?"

"I've been having a good time being with her I can't seem to remember when we fought."

"I see."

"I promised her that I would bring her mother back, but in the end I failed. I wonder if deep down she hates me for it."

"I don't think so." Nick said.

"How can you tell?"

"Yoko knows that you did your best and she understood that it was for the sake of the world."

"I see." Hiromu then just stared at the sky.

"Neh? Hiromu why don't you try asking her out?"

"What?"

"Try to see if there is actually something there."

"Are you kidding we're in the middle of a war here I can't be dating now."

"Oh don't be stubborn. You lived in the sub-dimension for 13 years you need to get back into normal human life."

Hiromu said nothing but went back to staring at the sky.

"A normal life huh?" Hiromu kept saying.

With Yoko

Yoko finished putting her homework together. She then thought to her little conversation with Hiromu earlier today. She then thought back to when she hated him.

"Things sure have changed between us since then." She thought to herself.

Usada then entered her room.

"You should just try going out with him." He said.

"What are you talking about?"

"Hiromu. Don't even try it Yoko I've seen how the air has been between you two the last few months. Something should happen."

"We're in the middle of fighting the Vaglass right now. We can't be dating."

"Come on Yoko you need to make used of all the youth you have before it is gone."

"Are you calling me old?"

Usada then made a dash for the door.

Yoko then sat on her desk flicking the light switch.

"I wonder." Was all she kept saying.
