So. I know I said that I would write the Slender FanFic. But, before anyone yells, I had to write this one! I have an idea, and I have to put it down or I'll lose it. I really need to get a life. Anyway, this is just a short tidbit on Mad Father. I wanted to put down how Aya discovered what her father was doing down in the basement, and this came to me. So shud up and read.
Aya Drevis woke with a start in her bed. She had heard a scream somewhere. "What was that?" She whimpers. The small five year old slowly removes her sheets and creeps out of bed and tip-toes out into the hallway. This time, she hears it for sure. The scream makes her hair stand on end.
"Oh no!" She says aloud. That scream came from the basement, where her father often was. She hurries to the door that leads down there. She poked her head around the door before scurrying down the stairs to the door that lead into her father's lab.
Of course, Aya had no idea what a lab was, but she was worried her father was hurt. She heard someone coming towards the door and scuttled to the shadows where she crouched down. Her father burst out of the door and hurried off up the stairs.
Aya sighs in relief. It wasn't her father after all. But who was it? Cautiously, she crept back up to the door and slightly opened it.
Peeking her head inside, she almost screamed at what she saw. Instead, she gasped lightly. There was someone lying on a table in the middle of the room. They had blonde hair, and one of their hands was dangling off the side.
"Hello?" She asked quietly, stepping a bit closer. There was no reply. Sucking in her breath, Aya padded to the table. Her eyes widened at the sight she saw before her. The person was a boy, and indeed he had long, shaggy blonde hair. But it wasn't his hair that surprised Aya. It was the fact that one of his eyes was missing from its socket.
"What happened to you?" She mumbles under her breath. The boy jolts, and his remaining eye opens, revealing a chocolate brown. It catches Aya's own indigo one, and he reaches for her.
"Help… me…" He gasps quietly. Not wanting to leave him in pain, Aya immediately turns and scans the room for something that could help him She spots the white bandages that her mother sometimes wrapped around her cuts, and picks them up, returning to the table.
"Here. I have these." She slowly dabs his socket with a piece of bandage, and the boy flinches. "Sorry!" She squeaks. He doesn't say anything, but instead lifts his head slightly.
Aya tilts her head. What did he want her to do? She squeezes her eyes shut and tries too picture her mom wrapping the bandages around her finger. She did it only a few times, and tightly, so the blood would stop flowing.
Maybe I wrap this around his head so they cover his eye? She does just this. Her work is slightly sloppy, but she does her best. When she finishes, he lays his head back down. "Thank… you…" He mumbles before closing his eye again.
"I hope you're okay." She whispers, and then hurries out of the room and back up the stairs. She shuts her door quietly and then leaps into bed, pulling the covers up too her chin. "What does Father do down there?" She asks herself.
She falls asleep thinking about the boy with the brown eye. I really hope he was okay…
There! I'm done. It wasn't too good, but I wanted to get it out there. Thank you for dealing with me. And now, back to the Fiction at hand!
R&R if you wanna. You don't have too though. And remember too message me ideas about the Slender Fiction please. I'm kind of stuck anyways.
Hugs and Bro-Fists all around!
