Leo (the Lion)
Leo was a proud lion and a fair king. He would watch over his kingdom and have time to play with his cubs, Leo II and Lasha. Leo II was going to follow in his father's footsteps. This was an honor because Leo was the King's favorite cub. Lasha was to enforce the King's laws and make sure to keep law and order.
One day, Leo II and his brother Lasha went to play with some tiger cubs. They had so much fun that they lost track of time. Pretty soon the sun was setting. Lasha realized that it was past supper time and had his brother to come home with him. Leo II followed Lasha until he saw a shiny piece of gold. Leo II decided to dig out the piece of gold. When he was done digging the piece of gold he realized that he was lost. Leo II panicked for the fist time in his life.
When King Leo saw only one of his cubs came home, he started to get worried. The king then flew into a rage trying to figure out what happened to Leo II.
"Lasha, where is your brother Leo?" The King asked in a fury. "This is not like him to get lost."
"I don't know," said Lasha. "He was with me, I swear! Maybe he got distracted by something."
King Leo decided to look for his son high and low. He first looked all over the Earth and could not find his son. When travelling around the world did not work, he went up to the heavens to find Leo II. When the King was in the heavens he looked right at the whole planet. King Leo would spend his whole life looking for his son. During the day King Leo would rule his kingdom and look after his remaining son. At night, he would rise up to the heavens to find his son. King Leo would search the Milky Way to find his son Leo II.
