A/N: Um... Hello. This is my first story, and I hope you enjoy. I did a oneshot because I'm a little busy working on school things and such. I chose Minecraft because I couldn't think of a good Zelda, My Little Pony, or Pokemon story.
~ Steve's POV ~
My eyes slid open. The sun would of blinded me but the presense of a young girl in front of me blocked the sun. I was alright with that. I was better off in the shade, anyways.
"Hello," she said. "Good morning, sleepyhead."
She giggled and started patching up the roof, covering the sun completely. I could feel my energy draining from lack of sunlight each minute I was in the bed.
When she broke a block in the wall, I felt instantly refreshed.
"My name is Zaga," she said, "and I'm sorry for the annoying wake-up."
"Za...ga..." I mumbled. She laughed again.
"Why don't you get up and get me some wood?" she said. "Afterwards there will be some food, maybe even cake. I only need around a stack."
I nodded slowly and stood up. She handed me a stone pickaxe and I walked outside to the nearest tree.
A few minutes later, I had sixty-four oak wood.
"Hey Steve!" Zaga shouted at me. "Got the wood? Porkchops' ready!"
I nodded and walked back inside. I tossed her the wood, she smiled, and handed me two porkchops. I ate them, feeling much better than I did before.
"What happened to me?" I asked.
"I found you in a mineshaft. You were surrounded by lava and you were on a single block. There was a chest, but all there was was a book. You had a ton of injuries, and no items. I brought you here," Zaga said.
"Oh..." the memories flashed back to me. Ones that I wanted to forget...
"You can go home now," Zaga said. "You're fine."
I nodded slowly. "Zaga..." I said, "... Have you heard of Herobrine?"
Zaga shrugged. "I've read about him in that book I found, but otherwise, nope."
"I think... He's out to get me," Steve said, "and I'm not safe."
"That's very-"
Silence.
"Zaga?" I shouted, turning to her. "Zaga!" I shouted again. No one was there. In her place was...
... Me.
