Chapter One
Jaden and Jade
"Jaden I'm going to kill you if we're late to the duel academy exams at the centre for life in the town" I was shouting at my brother as we ran through Gateshead interchange to the metro to get to the central station in Newcastle so we could get there on time.
Ok maybe I should introduce ourselves My name is Jade Richards and the boy beside me is my twin brother Jaden and we were one of the best tag team duelists in Lord Lawson Of Beamish Academy and both were the best duelists in our school as we had an impressive record for the school duels in years 7-11, but when we were leaving in yr 11 we decided to apply to duel academy after we finished our school exams, "Cillax Jade as we are an hour early and you've missed breakfast again haven't you?" Jaden replied "yeah that's 'cos you slept in through over 10 ALARM CLOCKS!" I yelled back at him as I am extreamly grumpy if I've missed breakfast but then again he was right I needed to get something to eat. "you fancy some Krispy Kreme doughnuts" Jaden teased me "shut your bloody stupid mouth Jaden Richards!" I snapped Back at him "yikes you really are in a bad mood this morning!" He said to me as we ran to Eldon Square to get me a bite to eat as I needed something to wake me up for our exams.
But when I had finished my 'breakfast' we started running again, but this time I tripped and fell, dropping my cards in the progress as well as scraping my knee outside of Graingers Market "ugh, great just great" I muttered "JADEN! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" I shouted after him as he ran off not seeing that I'd fallen. Then the greatest duelist Paige Marsden helped me up and helped get my scattered cards as well as she gave me her dark magican deck as a gift and a kuriboh card for Jaden "thanks miss, gotta go as I'm late for my entrance exam" I said "well good luck and I hope you get in to the Newcastle duel academy" she said to me as i turned to run after Jaden "thanks again Paige" I said as I ran off after Jaden (the idiot left me behind)
