Mikey sat in his room, bouncing a ball on the ceiling. He sighed. He and his brothers had just returned to New York after the invasion and they stopped the Kraang, but now that they had done that there was nothing left to do, hence, Mikey's boredom.
Finally getting tired of being bored, Mikey stood up and walked out just as Raph almost ran him over. He was skateboarding with Casey and in the house, no less. Why Splinter was letting them do this boggled Mikey's mind. He stared at Splinter, who was just standing there drinking tea. Mikey went to him and nudged his arm to let him know of his existence. Splinter turned to him.
"my son" he said.
"why are you letting them skateboard in the house?" he asked.
Splinter shrugged. "I understand that you all have been through a troubling lot since the farmhouse, so I believe the best I can do as your father is to give you all a break"
Mikey stared. A break?
"I am gonna go out then" he said while grabbing his skateboard and attempting to go out.
"Wait!" Raph cried. "Let me come with you"
Mikey looked at him. "um, sure?"
"great! Come on Casey" They all rushed out of the sewers.

The two turtles laughed and raced around the rooftops, sometimes skateboarding sometimes not. It was when they had gotten into another race when a sudden shrill scream filled the air. Casey, Raph and Mikey looked up.
"What was that?" Casey asked.
"beats me" Raph said.
Mikey began to shake when all of sudden a creature appeared out of the blue, running at the three unsuspecting teenagers. Raph and Casey both shouted and jumped out of the way whereas Mikey just stood there and got knocked over. The creature somehow knew this and threw it's tail towards the orange clad turtle and caught him before the two went tumbling over several rooftops. The two crash landed on the street and Mikey jumped up and pulled the creature into an alley just as a car raced forward.
"Wow" Mikey gasped before turning to the creature and letting his face fall.
The creature looked like a giant walking cat yet with husky features and super, super skinny. It had beautiful amethyst eyes and appeared to be female.
"Thanks" she gasped breathlessly.
"No-no- th-thank you-" Mikey's feet then wobbled before he fell in a faint.
