Neville never really thought of himself as that special. Besides the fact that he has a scar in the shape of a crescent moon. His grandmother told him he was special. Especially for the fact that he was the only known wizard to survive the killing curse spell. He hated how clumsy he was and how in every wizard like place he went to, everyone wanted to shake his hand. He found it quite annoying how everyone new that his stinking last name was Long-bottom! Neville Long-bottom! Have you ever heard of such a sick, horrid humiliating last name? Sometimes I just wish I was never famous!

I have a few friends that will be going to Hogwarts next year with me. They've already gotten their powers. So have I but I can't really control them. Granny says at Hogwarts I should be fine as long as I don't become like that other stupid pure blood family. Whats their name? Oh yeah the Malfoys. One of the other two families I know are the Weasleys and the Potters. Harry and Ron are the ones closest to my age. Infact, Harry was born around the same time as me!

They are both really nice to me. So are their families. My parents used to fight against Voldemort with their parents in the order. But then one night Voldemort came to our house and tried to kill all of us. He only succeeded with my parents some how, I survived. All I can really remember was a lady standing over me and a green flash of light. Then Granny says she came later that night for her monthly visit. She found me and got the minister over. Technically I have to live with her now because were related. I don't know any body else in our family.

I might be having Ron and Ginny over next week. Their siblings are already at Hogwarts. He has a very large family. I don't even think I know all of them. Ron says his oldest brothers are Bill and Charlie. He says that Charlie works at Gringotts and Bill is a dragon trainer or the other way around I dunno. Harry's dad is real funny while his mom looks a lot like she could be a Weasley. Surprisingly she isn't. Harry only has one sister. Her name is Melanie.

She has hair just like her mum's. She is very sweet and kind of cute. But, nothing can beat Luna Lovegood. Luna is about a year younger than me but she is anything someone like me would want. She's smart, funny, cute and doesn't really care what people say about her. She has the cutest little earrings and her own unique personality. I wonder which house she will get into.

While Arthur and Molly go to pick up Percy, Fred and George, Ron and Ginny will be coming over. I think that Ginny would be Harry's type. I've told them about him. I think Ron and Harry will be great friends. I bet Ginny will like Harry. Not as a friend though. Probably highly above that. I can't wait for next year. Granny says she will get me a rememberall if I make it into Griffindor! Wouldn't that be great? Then I wouldn't forget too many things anymore!

Granny says that when she went to Hogwarts she got into Gryffindor! She also says my mum and dad did too. Its just that I am not the Gryffindor type. I'm too clumsy and Granny says that I got my powers later than most witches and wizards do. I just hope she doesn't try to destroy my Hogwarts life by sending me a letter every day. But I especially hope she doesn't send me a howler! She says she had to send one to my dad before. He had gotten into the forbidden forest and caused it to be called the forbidden forest.
