"You can't be in here, you're not authorized!"Cried the security guard who was manning the display room at the Flash Museum.
Eobard clenched his fists and tensed his body, preparing for the attack. This was amusing him greatly and it was obvious that the other man was terrified.
"Is that so? You should have ran while you had the chance," purred Eobard as a wicked smile tugged at his lips.
With that said, the speedster lunged at the other in full force and grabbed his neck roughly. Eobard let out a shrill laugh as the security guard's neck broke with ease under his grip.
"Such a pity, your children sobbing at night because you're dead."
With a quick thrust, the man's body slid across the floor and hit a wall with a loud thud. Eobard was no longer hindered and he walked to the one thing he had come for, the cosmic treadmill. His breathing was labored from excitement and nerves. The man would do anything to go back and visit the one he loved, Caitlin Snow. Obsession and desired gnawed at him like hunger in a starving child. The treadmill stood in its glorious state, elegant and unaffected by time. With a thought in mind, Eobard slid a hand into a pocket and removed an old photo of Caitlin Snow. He had stolen it from a museum some time back and no regrets were given about it.
"Oh sweet love soon we shall meet and such happiness will be brought to this heart of mine."
His voice was tender and with slow motion Eobard brought his lips to the picture, kissing it deeply. So many times he had fantasied about kissing those luscious lips and now it was actually going to happen. He continued kissing the picture for a while, a moan or two escaping his lips but soon he stopped. Eobard steadied himself on the treadmill and set the time dials to the date he desired.
"This is it," he whispered excitedly.
In a blur of lightning, Eobard was shot through time and flung to his destination.
