Optimus Prime took to the stars to take the seed somewhere no one would ever find it the rest of the autobots stayed behind to defend Cade yeager and his family with Tessa going off to college cade decided the best way to protect her was to go on the run.

Cade and the autobots moved to the badlands of south Dakota in a junkyard cade realized that he cant handle this by himself so he hired a young man from a want ad named jimmy to help him around the junkyard.

Cade introduced him to the autobots and dinobots grimlock and slug no one knows where strafe and scorn went.

It was a normal sunny day in the autobot refuge camp cade was just about to leave with bumblebee crosshairs and hound to find more autobots "just keep them out of trouble jimmy"he said and left with bumblebee and hound in tow jimmy just knodded sarcastically"yeah just keep them out of trouble you have no idea how dif.."jimmy paused mid sentience as he felt someone breathe down on him he slowly turned to see grimlock standing behind him in his dino form staring at him jimmy gulped then grimlock walked away jimmy ducked as grimlock's tail unknowingly swiped at him jimmy walked passed drift who was practising new sword moves "he can be frightening like that"drift said "you don't say,samurai jack"jimmy mumbled under his breath jimmy was about to go in the workshop when he saw grimlock going near sheriff shermen's police cruiser "uh oh" jimmy ran towards grimlock "no no no hey!".

Jimmy stopped in front of grimlock who looked down at him "no don't even think about it"jimmy shouted grimlock stared at him for a few seconds then stepped over him jimmy panicked as grimlock opened his mouth ready to eat the car Jimmy looked around and found a crowbar and chucked it the crowbar hit grimlock in the head.

Grimlock paused and turned to look at Jimmy and growled Jimmy was practically wetting his pants grimlock didn't like stuff thrown at him "you better run"crosshairs shouted Jimmy chucked nervously then dashed towards the junkyard grimlock roared and gave chase drift and crosshairs watched "should we help jimmy"drift asked crosshairs turned to drift "knock yourself out" drift looked at them Jimmy was dodging grimlock's jaws while running in a zig zag "it was nice knowing him"drift finally said.

Grimlock flicked jimmy through the air with his nose jimmy yelled for a second before landing on the hood of a rusty car grimlock stood over jimmy growling his teeth was mere inches from Jimmy's face "oh i can't watch"crosshairs said looking away but then looked back grimlock roared loudly in jimmy's face getting a little bit of green drool on his shirt and face jimmy turned his head in fear grimlock huffed and then walked away jimmy's heart was racing as he sat up jimmy turned to see slug standing just a few feet from him in his knight form looking at him "i wasn't scared if that's what you're thinking"jimmy said to the dinobot slug crossed his arms in disbelief jimmy turned his head to see cade had returned and leaped of the hood of the car "hey Jimmy j did anything happen while i was gone"cade asked Jimmy just simply said "Nope".
