A/N: I had a random stroke of muse and this is what came of it. I don't know exactly how the Asians all relate to each other age wise, but I figure it's close enough. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

Also, I gave Hong Kong and Thailand human names since they don't seem to have any fan ones that I've seen. Quan is Hong Kong and Tep is Thailand. Thailand, Hong Kong, and Korea are about 13, Tibet is about 14 and Taiwan is 11 or 12.

"Hey... guys?"

Thailand and Hong Kong looked up from their video game to see Taiwan standing in the doorway, clutching the stuffed dragon Japan had given her for New Year's.

"Ha! I killed you, Quan!" Korea shouted from the far end of the couch.

"Shut up, that doesn't count," the other boy snapped, pausing the game.

"What's up Mei? You look kinda... scared," Thailand asked, adjusting his glasses.

The young girl looked down. "I... came over with Japan. China told me I should go play with you guys... He said he and Japan need to talk..." All four young nations winced as they heard something shatter against a nearby wall, followed by shouting in three different languages.

"Guess Vietnam's here too, huh?" Korea muttered.

After a moment of awkward silence, filled only by muffled yelling and Tibet chanting to himself in the corner, Quan finally moved over and patted the spot next to him, "Come on, Mei. You can sit by me. We don't have another controller but you can help me by keeping a look out." He gave the girl a small smile as she climbed onto the couch next to him. The other boys protested, saying it wasn't fair for him to have a team mate. At least, they protested until they saw her face buried in their brother's chest, her hands over her ears.

The game ended quickly. It didn't seem as much fun to beat up virtual people when a real fight was going on in the background. They just sat on the couch, wincing and scooting closer with every crash and every curse. After a while, even Tibet joined the huddle, his chanting silenced for the time being.

Even the closeness of her brothers didn't keep Mei's spirits up for long. Soon, she was reduced to tears. She was quiet about it, but the others almost wished she wasn't. Maybe her crying would have blocked out the noise or, even better, gotten the older nations to stop fighting and see what was wrong. But she remained quiet, leaving the boys only one option.

"Hey... come on Mei Mei. Don't listen to them, they're just being dumb," Korea said, leaning down and smiling at the girl. "Here! You can mess around with this to keep your mind off it." He handed her a small, complex 3-D puzzle.

Tibet started up a quiet, soothing chant, though none of the other boys were sure whether it was for their sister's benefit or his own.

Thailand had the best idea, getting sleeping mats from the other rooms so they could all sleep together.

Soon, the mats were in place and all five Asians were laying on them. Not a single one of them slept that night. They huddled together, some cried, others simply waited for the yelling to stop. Mei stayed curled up next to Hong Kong, who continued to stroke her hair and glare at the thin walls.

They'll pay for hurting her like this.
