A/N: Before reading the story, please take note of the genre. And by the way, this is quite offensive and disturbing too. Remember. I warned you.

Putrid

"What's that smell?" she annoyingly asked.

She just came down the stairs, her hair still messy because of the fact that she just woke up. It's still six in the morning and she still wants to sleep. But because of that smell, she's unable to do so.

"What smell?" her father asked.

"I don't know! It smells like a—"

Her eyes suddenly widened.

Her mother just passed through her.

Her stomach lurched, and she hurried down to the bathroom.

"What's with that child?" her mother asked to his father.

"I don't know." he impassively replied.

Her mother followed her to the bathroom, curious of what's happening to her. And she was surprised when she saw her kneeling before the toilet sink – throwing up.

"Oh my, are you okay?" she started to come near her daughter when—

"Don't come near me! The smell is strong!"

"Wha? Smell? What smell?"

Her mother moved away from her just like what she asked. She was pinching her nose when she came out of the bathroom.

"Like a corpse."

"What?"

"The smell! It's like a corpse!"

And that's when she suddenly realized.

She went upstairs and went straight to her parents' room. Her parents are sleeping on different beds because her father has a habit of kicking the one sleeping beside him—which annoyed her mother a lot.

She inhaled a large amount of air through her mouth, and then pinched her nose harder before opening it.

She opened it, and then regretted doing so.

And then, she felt the need to throw up again.

On her mother's bed was a corpse—no blood—just a corpse—with the flesh rotting and worms, cockroaches, rats and flies all over it. It has no eyes and hair making it unrecognizable.

Her parents followed her upstairs and saw her throwing up right then and there on the floor.

"What happened?"

"There's a corpse on mother's bed!" she said, trying to prevent throwing up again.

Her parents looked at the bed and looked at her afterwards.

"What corpse?"

A/N: I apologize for the weirdness of this fic. But please review. This is my first time doing one on this genre. I need to know how it went.
