It's Going to Rain.

Edward stood under a tree wearing a black dress with her hair down watching six men carry a coffin with a man that nobody could hate through rows upon rows of grave stones to a large group of grim faced people where black mixed with blue. The men gently placed the coffin down into the hole where the man is to buried. A little girl whom was clinging to her mothers arm started to ask

" Mom how come? Why are they burying daddy? Who are those people? Why are they burying him? Why" the mother looked down at her daughter

" He's gone baby" she said

"They can't I don't like it, daddy said he had lots of work to do and if they bury him he can't do it when he wakes up.

"Oh Elysia" cried the woman as she pulled her daughter into a hug.

"Stop them mommy daddy needs to do his work he told me why are you burying daddy, mommy why? DADDY WAKE UP!"

Roy Mustang stood in the front of the group of people with his head turned down to hide his eyes the people started to leave Riza Hawkeye turned to a person whom was walking away and said

" Well catch up sir" as she turned to look back at Roy who had started to talk

"Killed in Action and promoted two ranks for it Brigadier General Hughes you were the guy who was going to work below me and help push me to the top, but then you get yourself killed and pass me in the ranks, I don't know what's more absurd you or the state"

"Are you ready?" she asked but as soon as those words left her mouth she felt a hand rest on her shoulder she turned to see who it was and saw Edward who was motioning for her to go and she listened and started walking away just as she was not even 15 feet away Roy started talking again

" Years ago I had a theory on Human transmutation and after all we've seen I was actually trying to remember it now we alchemists are such hopeless predictable things why didn't he tell me lieutenant Ed and Al in danger, lab 5 maybe I could have done something to help"

"maybe because he new you'd try Roy" said Ed Roy then turned to Ed in surprise to notice that it was not Riza but Ed but he asked anyway "What's that mean?"

"When we're in danger Roy well sometimes you decisions aren't exactly rational" stated Edward as Roy's expression changed to a more calm and sad look

"maybe Hughes didn't tell you because he wanted you to worry about your own goal instead of the ours so that you could make it to the top with out anymore set backs" said Edward with a serious look as Roy turned away and looked back at the gravestone then looked up while saying

"it's going to rain today"as tears started to roll down his cheek's "yes" was Edwards response as she noticed the tears her face softened and she took a step forward " You know Roy" said Ed as she put her hand on his shoulder

"Sometimes it's okay to cry and this is one of those times" said Edward with tears of her own falling. Roy started to cry harder and harder until his legs gave out and he fell onto the grass covered ground, Edward then walked around until she was in front of him she kneel down and pulled Roy to her chest telling him to cry and that it was okay Roy wrapped is arms around her sobbing finally allowing his pain and heart ache to be released.

Riza turned around to see Roy and Edward on the ground hugging and crying together 'Thank you Edward your exactly what he needs' thought Riza as she looked at the rest of her friends and comrades who were all wearing a look of shock but she just kept walking.
