They say I'm crazy,

They say I'm depressed,

They say I'm dark,

They say I need rest,

You say you're alright,

I say that something's wrong,

You say you're okay,

I say that you need to get strong.

You say that they're right,

When you don't believe,

You say I'm not worth it,

When you start to leave.

I'm trying to help,

I don't want to cause you more pain,

You can't let it go on,

You have to get rid of it's stain.

They're afraid of me,

And I guess they should be,

They pity me,

Because they can't see.

I know you feel lost,

I know you seek to be,

I know that you need help,

And I'm sorry that I'm me.

I feel so alone,

When I can't see your eyes,

I feel the misery of ages,

When I can't hear your sighs.

Don't be so sad,

When I'm trying so hard,

Don't disappear from my eyes,

Even though it fragments in shards.

Don't leave me again,

Stay with me forever,

Don't say we can't be,

Please, please be my only lover.

I won't leave you again,

I'll be at your side,

I need us to work,

I can't keep living this lie.

I can't do this alone,

I admit I can no longer see,

I don't know it at all,

But why can't I just be me?

You'll never have to,

I promise I'll be here,

I know how to help,

I'm not going anywhere.

This is unfair,

My whole life is a wreck,

I can no longer stand this.

I'll perish, or cry.

Don't give up,

Please, not when we've come this far,

Let me try to figure this out.

To end would mean failure

And it would be good-bye

Can we possibly fix this?

I Don't know, it may not ever be,

No, don't say that, have faith in me,

I try and I love you with all my heart.

No gift could be sweeter, or more cherished than this,

Then I trust you and I'll wait till the ends of the earth and then maybe, just maybe, there will be a rebirth and we can be happy and joyous and free and then maybe, just maybe, you will love me.

I love you now, and though the future is bleak, hold tight, and maybe, the end that we seek will come to us for we have suffered through much and I think we will finally have our life in love and in peace.

You speak of such splendors; I wish I could see,

Open your eyes,

There are no words I can use to describe,

Then just say you love me.
