The Nightmares. As Jack said, they were nowhere to be fount in Christmas Town. But in Halloween Town, they are everywhere. ever-present. lurking in the shadows. Rarely showing their faces, yet everyone knows they are there. Watching. Plotting. Sometimes, they showed their selves. Sometimes on Halloween. Sometimes at random. Reminding everyone to stay on their toes. Reminding them that they are the true essence of Halloween, not them. Not like the Werewolf, or the Mayor, who never created any acts of great terror. The Nightmares are the true essence of Halloween. The Nightmares are a group of elite scarers, who's identities remain a secret. It was the Nightmares who created things like the black plague in Europe, the rain of terror in France, and one of their more recent scares, from one of there most recent members, that night the humans were forever scarred, on that one Christmas night...
