Just a little something to keep you all entertained, whilst I plod along with my other stories.
I set myself a challenge to write a story without character names, and I forward the challenge to anyone else who wants to have a go:D.
Serve and Protect
Don't hesitate.
Once he arrived through the gate and into the Ancient city of Atlantis. He searched his victim out, just as armed security people started to gather around him.
You can't miss.
He couldn't fail.
It won't take them long to know this negotiation is a set up.
He found his target, heading down the long flight of steps leading into the gate room.
Your orders; kill on site.
Before the security team had reached him, he revealed his true intentions and fired a gun.
Victory will be swift.
A target had been found, but not the target.
The people of Atlantis will be thrown into turmoil if you succeed. It would make it easier for us to strike.
From the photos he had been shown, he identified the person who jumped in the bullets path as head of security.
Justice will be served.
He failed to serve, whilst the other man did his job to protect her.
