Hey, Dad. It's been awhile, hasn't it? We're shipping to a new location soon, so I thought I'd tell ya while I can. It's at classified so I'm pretty excited. The old Command Wolf you gave me is still holding up fine. I know it's a family heirloom from the Guardian Force days, so I still take good care of it. We should be glad they still make Command Wolf parts.
How's Mom doing? She seemed worried about me when news came out about the war, I hope she's alright. As one book I've read said, when a mother realizes her child is fighting to protect people in a high risk environment, a mother's pride and fears fight for dominance. Please tell I think about her and miss her every day.
I hope Matthew isn't causing too much trouble. I heard about the police bringing him to the house, and I'm worried he'll end up in jail. Strict law-enforcement seems to be rearing its head on the home front. Just please go easy on him. I want to fight alongside him in Zoid battles when the war is over.
I have to end this letter. 1st Lt. Dracker (who I call Bryce) just stuck his head in the room to tell me we leave in half an hour. Better get ready fast. I'll write again when I can, assuming I don't forget.
