Nobody get me wrong. I love Bella and Edward. They're true lovers in the uptmost way, but Jacob is a great character. He's got an honesty and straitforwardness about him that I can connect to. Some people, like my brother, claim that he's whiny, but I disagree. Who wouldn't be upset if they had to go through what that boy went through in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Meyer was pretty friggin rough on the him.
I'm just happy Jacob got his happy ending. So this story is my omage to that. Told from Renesme's point of view - because I don't think she has a difinitive voice in the fan-fiction world - this is when Jacob really gets his happy ending.
The story was inspired by something Edward said in the last chapter of Breaking Dawn (at least I think it was the last chapter, I can't find my damn book right now). Ten points to anyone who can figure out what that was (and if it really was the last chapter. That's gonna bug me till I find that friggin book).
