Alex shuddered as another wave of hot and cold washed over him. He really needed to check that medicine. The side effects didn't include hot or cold flashes. They did include nausea, which he was also experiencing.
He was about to call his doctor when his vision erupted into white smoke. As fast as he could, he ran to the nearest mirror. He was a lot shorter than he used to be, and his hair had turned white. His ears had also become pointed. When he opened his mouth to say 'What the Hell?' all that came out was:
"Meow?"
