Okay so this is a story about a vampire named Lily who falls in love with Seth Clearwater but can't be with him for reasons unknown…
This first chapter is in her cousin Darren's point of view (POV) who is a member of her coven.
Darren's POV
In my 300 years I had never seen anything like it… A vampire who actually thought they would burn in sunlight!
"How dumb can you get!" I exclaimed
"Shut up Darren, you'll hurt her feelings"
At the moment I was standing in a cave in the middle of no where with a newborn vampire who is afraid of the sun and my vamp cousin Lily. Who am I? You may ask, I am Darren Cale a 'vegetarian' vampire and according to my friends the most obnoxious vampire ever created.
"But it's so stu-"
"SHUT UP DARREN"
The new vamp was still sitting on the floor of the cave silently as me and Lily had a screaming match. She was about our age, in appearance but I hadn't had a chance to find out yet. Me and Lily were out hunting when we came across vampire scent which was pretty unusual to find any vampires (except us) out here in the middle of northern Canada in an isolated forest with absolutely no humans within 100 miles. So of course we followed it to the cave, and Lily being the annoying leader she is told me to stay outside while she talked to this vamp. But of course being me I just couldn't stand waiting more than 5 minutes I followed. Just in time for Lily to ask the newborn WHY she was in the cave and for the newborn to say 'I am hiding in here until night so I won't burn in the sunlight'! Like wow, is she serious! Unfortunately mine and Lily's yelling match was interrupted by the voice of the being who haunted my worst nightmares…
"Now what do we have here?"
