Spring had finally arrived in a shroud of bright, sparkling colors.

The day was yellow. The endless ocean shimmered. Blue, smooth cliffs.

A grey house, built of wood, surrounded by a wild, windswept landscape.

A dark, shabby apartment, drowned in cat urine, flowery armchairs.

The day was grey, black and purple. The wind made the cold rain dance. Dusky clouds, home of thunder.

Autumn had eventually come, dressed in murky, ominous colors.

A man emerged on one of the cliffs. Shadows in his face.

He was getting old. Clenched fists, one around a wand. His name was Avery.

With slowly steps, the house came nearer and nearer. The blue, yellow, silver sea reflected in the windows.

Two men emerged in the hallway. Blushing faces.

They were young. Squeezed each other hard, hands around the other's back. One with the name Dearborn, the other one was named Avery.

With slowly kisses, reality came nearer and nearer. The hope, fear, reflected in their eyes.

Avery had long known what he had to do.

Avery and Dearborn realized what they had to do.

The house had no hallway; Avery stepped right into the empty kitchen. Dirty plates, coffee, grease.

Photos on the mantelpiece. Two men, laughing. Yes, this was the right place.

His head burned, a tingling feeling in his legs and hands. Muffled voices from upstairs, the stairway was skew.

The house was perfect; Avery and Dearborn stared at their new home. Wild ocean, tame cliffs, salt.

This was the right place. They laughed and laughed. Kissed, cried.

Their heads was filled with happiness, rushing blood. Lonely squeal of a blackcap.

They hadn't noticed him yet. Naked bodies tangled together. Their wands thrown at the drawer. So very reckless.

"You thought I would never find you?"

They noticed new paths between the many cliffs almost every day, new ways to live their life.

"You don't have to worry anymore, my dear Malcolm. They can't find us hear."

Suddenly, they stared into the eyes of death. Malcolm Avery met his father's insane glance. His life collapsed.

"You filthy boy. This doesn't even pain me." Avery raised his wand.
