Icekit blinked open her big blue eyes for the first time. Where am I? Everything is so big! A golden tabby she cat glaced at Icekit. "Your eyes! They're open!" She said happily. Icekit nodded. "Where am I?" She asked. "And who are you?" The pretty golden tabby looked at Icekit, her big amber eyes glittered with amusement. "I am Petaltail, your mother. You are in the ThunderClan nursery right now," She said. "This is Ravenkit, your brother," She said tapping her tail on a black kit's head. "And this is your sister, Sorrelkit," Petaltail mewed, tapping a dappled gray kit. "They both opened their eyes earlier." Icekit nodded and padded to the edge of the nursery.
She gazed outside and the two older kits, who were having a mock battle against each other. Icekit padded over to the 2 kits. One was a gray tabby and the other was a russet tabby. The young kit's white fur shone in the light as she interdouced herself. "Hi, I am Icekit," The white kit said. The russet kit smiled, Icekit liked him already. "I am Sparrowkit," He mewed. "And this is Skykit." The gray kit looked at Icekit, her blue eyes warm.
"Oh, let's show Icekit around camp!" Skykit mewed excitedly. Sparrowkit nodded in agreement. Just then Ravenkit and Sorrelkit padded out of the nursery and over to the other kits. "Whatcha doing?" Ravenkit asked. "Showing Icekit around. We can show you around too!" Sparrowkit replied. Sorrelkit and Ravenkit nodded. "Here is the nursery," Skykit mewed. "That's Sweetblossom, Berrydrop, and Petaltail," She said not knowing the younger kits already knew. The group padded over to a hollow log. "Here is the Elder's den," Sparrowkit mewed. A cream furred she cat padded out of the Elder's den. "Hm I see you young 'uns are showin' the other kits 'round," She croaked. "I remember Thistlepaw and Morningpaw showin' you around." Skykit and Sparrowkit nodded sadly, remembering the apprentices. The elder padded back into her den as the group moved on. "Here is the warriors den, my father sleeps there, Braveheart, the deputy." Sorrelkit's eyes wided."He is?!" She asked. "Petaltail told us Graystorm is our father," The dappled gray kit mewed. Ravenkit nodded. "Ooo what is that!" Icekit said ran over to a den. Skykit and Sparrowkit groaned. "The medicine cat den. That's where Lilyblossom and Echopaw sleep. When ever we come by they make us work," Sparrowkit mewed.
