The Midnight Hour
Tick tock tick tock. I checked my watch. Midnight. He should be here by now. He promised. I looked up to the sky and noticed the moon. It was full in all its glory and it glowed like a neon light on a sign board in New York. I found an old tree stump and sat down quickly brushing a lock of ginger hair from face. Then I wiped my hands on her red and white polka-dot dress, my heels digging into the dirt.
He was walking up the path and came up to me very quickly, with his hands in his pockets of his faded jeans. I looked up at him.
''You came...''
''Course.''
I smiled up at him, and he smiled back his teeth showing. He then sat down next to me. Something was wrong, very wrong; he was looking lustfully at my throat in a strange way. His eyes no longer a deep blue but an angry red. Like vampires...No...H-He can't be. I gasped. He knew what I knew.
This boy was a vampire and I was his prey.
My heart started beating faster then normal. Now I know why he wanted me alone in this forest call 'Forest of Midnight.'
I suddenly pushed him away and got up running away. He just chuckled and threw himself at my throat. His hands wrapped around my neck and he his fangs showed and bite into my neck.
Too late..
I was gone.
