Snow and Hope

I was a young man at that time,

Flying through the night sky like a bird,

I was watching both skies, both up and down.

There was time when I walked forever on the ground.

However, I keep appearing nor disappearing.

I may be human, however I don't own that title,

Since I never was a mortal as they say.

I once fell hard for a girl,

A girl with chestnut hairs that are like ropes,

With coffee eyes, that let me stare at it for along time.

I not only fall from grace for her,

I lost my own war for her.

She was never meant to be a prize,

Even though I really wanted her to be with me,

I cannot disappear, and reappear once again.

She fell for another later, that's the war I lost.

It's been a view years since I'm like this.

As I was the night, I was lonely,

Without any star to watch with me or any light.

The name was given to me,

Sometimes I hate it when people are scared,

Scared of something realistic or something that isn't there.

I went down to the ground to see white,

White and cold yet beautiful in the night sky.

They could be like my stars sometime.

Then as I walk, I met another girl.

This girl, wasn't like any other girl, she doesn't mind my looks,

How I am, or who I am, all she wanted was to have fun,

Love, and know who I'm truly am.

This girl is like the snow,

Gentle yet torrent, she looks as old as me.

Her hair and eyes are like snow.

She met my night eyes, as her eyes are like stars.

She came towards me and took my hand.

We dance, we sang, we laugh.

We have a lot of fun until its daybreak.

She smiled and left, with a golden glitter.

Leaving what looks like a reassurance of meeting again.

I looked at the place she was once where and where she went.

Maybe it's best to learn to live in the future.

I smiled at remembering and missing,

I smiled at who the girl is and how she found me, the one with the snow.

Maybe there is a combination to the snow and hope.
