basch/OC pretty much before the game starts right before he goes to battle in Nalbina. i guess AU lol. she is actually the sister of Eva-lynn another character that i havent uploaded yet.

this is actually based off of the song "two is better than one" by Boys like girls and Taylor swift :D

Lying there she listened to the sound of the crickets outside her window. Her husband lay beside her asleep. The same fear kept her awake at night. It had grasped her completely and warmly almost as her husband did while asleep. He knew.

He knew she felt alone yet his pride was still inside him. She knew when she married him; he would go to war. The moon was above there heads allowing, if she looked at a certain angle, it to be seen shining above her.

She couldn't be alone, without him would be without her. Stroking the hand that lay on her stomach it soothing her. She needed him to be with her.

She couldn't sleep but he soothed her nerves. "Tarry, go to sleep" she smiled as she glances at his half open eyes. She had woken him up but she didn't care. She needed him.

Smiling she moved closer to him letting herself be engulfed within him, his smell, his taste, everything she could understand at this time of night she held onto.

She smiled burying her face into his chest. Her hands clasped around his back. She would hold this moment forever. Life was great in this moment.

To be without him, for her life would mean the end of her. She loved this man no matter if her uncle had forced their marriage. They loved each other.

She knew the next night she would spend alone. She couldn't escape the thought. Buried deep into him she let a sob escape. How could she without the man she loved? "Sleep" his hand stroked through her hair. It could not leave her. She would be alone without him.

She could remember the day they met. How he had purposed by wish of her uncle. Memories swarmed her mind, her body and her soul. The man of her life would be taken away from her for a hopeless cause. Hopeless.

"I can't sleep, you'll be gone tomorrow" a sob escaped from her lips again but he heard it. His trained ears had heard her cry.

"Don't think like that, Tarry" he moved uncomfortably from under her. "I'll be home. We'll be together and you'll be fine. We'll be fine" bringing his lips to hers he placed a soft kiss.

She knew it was a lie. Early that morning she watched her husband walk away from her. Crying she watched him walk off to his death.
