Early Sunset
Chapter 1 : Meeting You
It's been a week since my mother and father died in a car crash, No matter how hard I try I can't get rid of the guilt that builds up inside of me, since it was my fault that my parents died, I was fooling around and bumped my dad while he was driving.
Soon after I was in a hospital bed and the news that my parents had died spread fast. I recovered fast and was heading off to live with my grandparents in Seoul.
It was almost midnight, "Hello." I greeted them in Korean as I entered their home. "Oh, you're here already Airi." Said Grandmother carrying a box of supplies,
"Just put your luggage in the spare room okay dear and I bought your uniform for school tomorrow." "Okay and thanks for buying it."
I walked over to the spare room I remembered that it was the room that I always used to sleep in when I was 7 years old I unpacked my things and headed off to bed.
"Airi wakeup or else you're going to be late for school!" "Okay, I'm getting up," I get changed and look at the clock "8:20 and school starts at um... 8:30, OH NO IM GOING TO BE LATE!" I yell as I run to get my shoes on.
"Aren't you having any breakfast Airi?" "No I don't have the time sorry," I get outside and run to school with no time to spare "yes I made it, so this is my first day of year 10 at my new school I hope I make friends fast." I walk inside and head to my classroom.
"Hi!" said a handsome boy he was so cute I could just hug him to death, "Hi," I said back "I'm Yoseob Yang nice to meet you" He said while smiling "I'm Airi Kim nice to meet you too."
Class had finished and I turned around when i saw Yoseob talking to his friend with dark brown hair and he was wearing sunglasses and square silver earings , I smiled "Hi," I said as Yoseob walked up to me "Hi Airi," "Oh! Your that girl who was in the car crash," Yoseobs friend said with a grin.
"Junhyung!" Yoseob exclaimed punching his friend. "Don't listen to my friend okay," Yoseob said to me "He can be annoying at sometimes," "Im Junhyung Young nice to meet ya!" "Nice to meet you too Junhyung" I said laughing.
Then we start to head off, we were near the seats when I see 4 other guys sitting at the seats "Yoseob Hyung and Junhyung Hyung and ….um whos this?" said a guy that appeared older than all of them he looked like a person in year 12
"Oh sorry how rude of me I'm Dongwoon Son and these people here are Hyunseung Jang, Doojoon Yoon and Kikwang Lee."
"Hi" I say back to them "So Airi where are you from we've never seen you around here before are you a transfer student" Yoseob said
"Not really, you see my parents were in a car crash when we were in Sydney Australia and both of them died the only thing for me to do was come to Seoul where my Grandparents live."
"Oh that's a shame," Doojoon said
"But your very good at speaking Korean when did you start speaking it?" Hyunseung asked
"I could always speak it ever since I was a child my mother was Korean and my Father was Australian."
"Cool." Said Yoseob "Where having a party tonight you should come, what do you say, please, please, please, pleeeeeasee?" Yoseob said while using puppy eyes.
"Okay I'll go," I say in a annoyed and exited voice.
