Have you ever wondered how would a world where your friends suddenly began to ignore you and make you feel the worst of worst would look? Let me tell you… it's a NIGHTMARE. This is worse than hell, I swear it. You feel like wanting to throw yourself in front of the train. Seriously, I'd have done that if my last friends wouldn't keep me. But let's get over with it, you're here to read a story, not listen to my drama. Well then… let me share with you my last day in Fairy Tail… I will never forget this day no matter how much I'd like to….

Since Lisanna came back from Edolas passed three weeks. Since the guild began to ignore me, well… three weeks… Of course, I'm not talking about the whole guild, just… mostly of it. At first, it was acceptable. In the first week, it was understandable. They of course needed to relinquish their bods and Lisanna needed to keep up with the present time in her original world. I accepted it, because I somehow sympathized with her. Still, I couldn't find something to talk to her about, since I had no idea about her existence before this, hmm… event? Yeah, that's the word. She neither seemed to be able to find a subject to talk with me, even if she tried a couple of times. But then somebody else from the guild came and took her to another adventure story.

I felt happy for them, I really did, but… I feel like an outsider now. I feel abandoned and forgotten… The thought of leaving the guild crossed my mind a couple of times but then I was encouraged by Levy, Wendy, Gray, Charla and Master who never forgot about me. Levy and Gray were ok with Lisanna, but they never were the best friend forever since they usually weren't together at the same time. They practically had no special memories with the younger Strauss. Wendy and Charla were in the same situation as me, being newcomers and with Wendy being so shy around new persons, they didn't really bond with Lisanna either. Still, they did participate in the guild activities so they weren't lonely like I was. And Master was the Master, he couldn't allow himself to be impartial. As an elder he knew very well what I was going through.

So they are the only persons hanging around me nowadays. Still, I hope that this all is temporary and everything would go back to how it was. And here I am today too, sitting in corner of the guild, drinking a milkshake and reading the newspaper of this morning, when my true friends finally came towards me. My eyes sparkled with life and a smile beamed on my face as I looked towards Natsu and Erza.

"Hey, Lucy! We want to talk something with you." Natsu said as he and the Titania sat on the opposite part of the table.

"Anything! What is it, Natsu, Erza?" I asked so happy. I think I was too happy though.

"You remember when we told you about us and Lisanna as kids? When we used to do a lot of things together?" Erza asked.

"I do. What about it?" I asked unknowing what was coming next. If only I had known… maybe I'd have left early today…

"Well, we thought about teaming up with her." Natsu said.

"I do not mind having her into the team. Maybe that would bond me and her too." I said giggling at the nice thought.

"No, Lucy. We want you out of the team." Erza said.

"We can't have that many members. And to say the truth… without your keys you can't do much… Sorry Lucy." Natsu said as my eyes widened. My heart stopped beating at that moment… that's what I thought, but it couldn't be since I was standing there even then, shocked as I was. Slowly, a dark look appeared in my eyes, now covered by my bangs. I was keeping myself from crying.

'Not here, not in front of them!' I thought to myself, encouraging me to keep being strong, at least mentally. I then looked up towards them and gave off an awkward smile.

"Sure, I understand. After all, this is… your team, isn't it? Go ahead! Have fun!" I told them still smiling. They both smiled then and stood up.

"Thanks, Lucy! See you tomorrow then!" Natsu waved as the two of them went to the bar, announcing Lisanna of the news. Unknown to me was that Lisanna shot me a worried glace, apparently feeling kind of bad. I stood up and headed to the doors, without finishing my milkshake which was now on the cold shadow of the table I've been sitting.

"Am I… so weak…? So pitiful…? Am I relying on my spirits just…?" I said as I began to feel tears falling from my eyes. I frowned and covered my eyes. Not looking ahead, I was running. I felt so ashamed! I wanted to hide from the world, forever from that moment onwards. As I was running on the streets, not many people being outside as it was already cloudy and the wind was blowing, raindrops began to fell from the dark sky.

"I'll become stronger! I won't lose to anybody! I won't let anybody call me weak anymore, damn it! DAMN ITTTTTTTTTTTTT!" I shouted towards the sky, not worried about what people might think. The rain was streaming down upon the earth and upon my face. Nobody could say that I was crying anymore… And with a determined look I began to run again, this time towards my house.

Entering the house, I slammed the door open and went straight towards the closet, throwing all of its contents upon the floor and taking out a shoulder bag. Taking one thing or another from the room, I placed them inside the bag. They were mostly mementos from my life and books I loved and probably I'd need or personal things. I didn't gather any clothes through.

"If I do this, I'll do this properly." I said and threw the bag, now finished, on the bed. Taking out two blank papers and a pen I began writing two letters. One was for my great friends, Levy… Gray… Wendy and Charla. I was sure they'd more likely go berserk hearing what I was just planning to do but I couldn't bear it anymore. It was a change for myself.

The other letter was addressed the two imbeciles named Natsu and Erza. Through you might say it's talking about the whole guild. But mostly these two…

Once finished, I sealed and placed the letters on the desk. It's most likely that this place follows to be taken a visit by more than one person anyway.

"I won't regret it, I won't regret it." I told myself and took the bag from the bed and headed to the lady in charge of that place.

"How should I put it…?" I thought as I sighed and knocked at her door. After a yell from the house saying 'I'll be right there!' the landlady opened the door and was surprised to find the blonde, aka me.

"What is it?" she asked and I handed her an envelope.

"Umm… this is the payment for the next two months. I am going on a holiday and don't know when I'll be back. I'll send the rest of money to you if needed. And don't worry with the cleaning. At least, not for a month or so." I told her with an awkward smile as she took the envelope and looked curiously at me.

"You're leaving, aren't you?" she asked and I was surprised, no… shocked even.

"How…" I murmured.

"I haven't lived all this long for nothing. Maa… I guess it's fine. Just take care of yourself, you hear me?" she said and I smiled.

"Thank you, Landlady…" I murmured.

"Now shuu shuu, go and do what you need to." She said and closed the door. Even so, it took me a moment to finally leave. I just stood there smiling.

"Thank you…" I murmured one last time and then went on my way. The next stop, the guild. Master had the right to know.

It was already night, and it was pouring slowly now. Most likely, Fairy Tail mages are either at their own houses sleeping at this time, or drunk and sleeping in the guild. Either way, Master would still be around. I took a deep breath and pushed the doors of the guild and sighed. They were here, drunk and sleeping, of course…

Making my way through the pile of imbeciles, I headed towards the Master's office and knocked. After I heard an ok I entered inside. Master was on his chair, tired and looking towards me.

"What is it, child?" he asked.

"Master… I…" I began hesitant. I'm such a coward… I'm afraid of making him sad? Idiot me…

"Tell me." He said slowly and I nodded.

"Master… I wish to leave Fairy Tail." I said and he looked shocked, but sighed.

"I hoped I will not hear you say this, even though I intuited this would happen. May I hear why?" he asked sad.

"You already know why, Master. You know everything I've been through the past weeks very well. But… I think I might as well tell you why I suddenly decided… You see… today I was kicked out of my team…" I said with a completing smile, as if I was talking about someone's else life, not mine… He seemed to understood what I was saying though.

"That's why… Master, please let me go. I'm going to train and when I'll come back I'll show everyone what I'm made of." I added. He looked surprised.

"So you're planning to come back. That's good. You seem to have already decided upon this. Your look is firm and determined." He said and I smiled. "How long will you be gone?" he then asked.

"I don't know… But one thing is certain. I WILL come back. And stronger than now." I said reassuring him. "And Master, I have one last favor to ask of you as I am now. Could you keep quiet about this? Only until they realize on their own. Then please decide on whatever to tell them the truth or not."

"Does that mean Gray and the others too?" he asked knowing my relationship with them.

"Of course not! They have the right to know. That's why, tomorrow… after they come to their senses after tonight, tell them." I said and he nodded.

"Very well, child. If this is your wish then so shall it be. I will await the day you walk through the doors of this guild again." He said and I nodded as I raised my right hand towards him. He nodded too and after saying a few words the pink emblem of Fairy Tail began to flutter away. A tear escaped my eyes as I could see all the joyful times spend in Fairy Tail. But resolving myself that it was only a transient dream which passed. Right now… I was no longer a member of Fairy Tail, at least not a whole one.

"You will always be a member of Fairy Tail, Lucy." He said as if he read my thoughts. I smiled once more and bowed my head.

"Thank you… Master…" I said and then left, his eyes watching my back as the door closed, marking the end of this meeting. As I was heading to the door, I looked among the piles of sleeping mages. There I spotted my dear friends too. I smiled as I saw Gray shirtless sleeping against a chair with Juvia near him, Wendy with Charla in her hands on a bench and Levy with the head on a table.

"I wish you happiness from now on, friends…" I muttered slowly and headed back to the door.

"Lucy?" a voice asked and I looked back to see Lisanna exit from the kitchen. "It's you. What are you doing here at this hour?" she asked innocent.

"I just forgot something I needed. Are you cleaning?" I asked a bit confused as to why she was the only one awake.

"Yeah… These guys always leave garbage. You know… I'm sorry… about the team and such… I'd have liked to do a few missions with you." She said with an apology smile. Seeing her, I couldn't help but smile saddened.

"It's alright, Lisanna. I also would have liked to become friends with you. It was the circumstances which didn't allow me." I said and looked towards the sleeping lot. "Have fun at Fairy Tail, Lisanna." I lastly said and headed towards the door leaving her confused.

"It's alright like that. I fell angry at Natsu and the others, but now that I think about it, she isn't a bad one either." I said while walking on the streets, the rain now has stopped completely and the clouds began to scatter.

"I have better things to worry about now… I did say I want to become stronger, but how exactly do I do this? Learn from books? From a master? And what exactly should I learn… another magic…?" I wondered and sighed as I took the path outside the city. Soon enough, still lost in my thoughts, I found myself inside the forest.

"Why do I feel creeped out suddenly…? Oh yeah, because I'm in a thick forest during midnight and it's after a storm too… Yeah, Lucy… perhaps that's why." I said and sighed as I watched my step. My luck was that the moon's light shone a little through the clouds, otherwise I'd trip by every tree root. But wait… I did hit something, great…

Looking down I saw a feather shining in the light of the moon. Taking it in my hand, I noticed it was light but kind of big. It was bigger than my hand… But it was beautiful too… It was silverish, or maybe golden? A light color anyway, but within it you could find more colors sparkling like gems. I looked around wondering from where could this origin. Wandering around while holding the feather in my hand and suddenly I saw an unbelievable sight. In the middle of the forest trees, in the light of the moon stood a… a…. a dragon…

The skin on my body felt suddenly like being electrocuted. Was this… fright? Yes! I was scared! But after watching it a little more ( and after trying to run but unable cause of the damn frozen up legs) the fear suddenly seemed to leave me. The white with blue lines drawn on its body and feathered wings looked at me. I also looked at it. It had bright blue eyes, so deep…

"Are you going to stare like this much longer, girl?" a feminine voice asked without moving her mouth.

"Ah! Excuse me…" I murmured and it seemed to laugh.

"Is there anything you need, girl?" she asked and then seemed to stiff the air a little. "Hey… That smell… Do you know Igneel?" she asked and I looked up.

"Umm… no. I know his dragon slayer, Natsu Dragneel… He's my ex-friend and ex-guild member." I told her.

"Ex? That means you're not in the guild anymore?" she asked and I shook my head.

"No… I left to get stronger. I… decided I'm weak…" I said saddened and with a frown. She inspected my form from hair to toe and seemed to muse herself.

"Girl, these are the Zodiac Keys. Could you be a Celestial Magician?" she asked and I nodded my head.

"Yes…" I murmured confused as to why would she ask.

"My name is Ceres, Celestia as queen. I am the queen of the Dragon Realm. What is your name, girl?" she said as she stood on her four legs.

"I am Lucy Heartfilia." I presented myself a little surprised as she said queen.

"Lucy hmm? A good name. You said you wanted to become stronger, right?" she then asked.

"Umm… yes." I murmured confused.

"Then… would you become my dragon slayer?" she asked as my eyes widened.

"Ehhh!?" I yelped surprised of the sudden offer.

"You're loud, girl. Well… I do say mine, but in truth it would be more than my element. You see, I'm the celestial dragon. Then, Lucy… let me ask you again. Would you become the ultimate dragon slayer?" Ceres asked once again.

"Ultimate dragon… slayer…?" I murmured confused as the dragon in front of me nodded her head.

"We searched quite a bit for somebody to take that role. Somebody with the affinity to take it all… I believe you'd be a fit one, Lucy."

"But… can I really learn Dragon Slayer Magic?" I asked not really believing.

"Of course. After all, I am the Queen. If you say yes, all the dragons in my service will teach you, Lucy. Say it. What's your decision?" she said demanding an answer.

"I do!" that desperate answer exited my mouth without me even realizing. I wished it THAT much? Ceres seemed to nod in understandment.

"Then climb on my head. I will take you to my Realm." She said and I climbed on her head as she said. In the next moment her wings blew suddenly, creating a strong gale. I had to close my eyes but when I opened them again I was awed by the breath taking sight. I was… flying… in the highest skies. But then they went inside the clouds and the sight of Magnolia could not be see anymore. It seemed a couple of minutes while they flew through the thick clouds but then… there was only nature.

It was totally out worldly. Like in one of these fairy tales. Gleaming rivers, tall mountains, emerald green trees and in the sky… dragons. A loud roar was heard from Ceres as she landed on the rocks of the earth. Not many minutes passed and a few dragons appeared in front of them.

"This one here is Lucy Heartfilia. She is the one I choose to be the ultimate dragon slayer."

"Umm…. Hello? Nice to meet you all." I said polite and maybe it was my imagination, but I think some of them smiled?

"We gladly welcome you, Lucy Heartfilia." A female dragon said and bowed her head a little.

"Lucy, this one is Grandine. That is Igneel, which you already know from the Dragneel boy. And by your smell I judge you know about Metalicana here too. The rest present are Jolt, the light dragon, Clarise, the water master, Terra, the earth one, Acnologia, the darkness dragon and me, the celestial dragon. We, the ones present here, and the others who you will met will train you from now on." She said and the other dragons flew away.

"It's time to go, Lucy. Let's go sleep for now. Tomorrow you will start your training." Ceres added and the two of them flew as well.

Morning in the guild

"Levy, Wendy, Gray and Charla in my office now!" Master shouted and the four called headed towards the office unknown what he had to say. It didn't pass much and Gray slammed the door of the office and jumped of the fence, heading towards the place where Natsu was at the moment. "Natsuuuuuu!" he shouted and attacked the dragon slayer with an ice hammer. From the office exited Levy and Wendy too who were both crying. Charla followed them but she looked only sad, she didn't allow herself to cry.

"What the hell do you want this time, frozen head!?" Natsu shouted angry as he barely dodged the unexpected attack.

"What do I want!? What do I want!? To beat the crap out of you! How could you!? How could you lot do that to Lucy!?" he shouted and continued to attack Natsu who kept on dodging. "I thought I was in that team too! Then how the hell did you kick her out in favor to Lisanna!?" he shouted.

"Gray! What's going on!? Stop in this moment!" Erza shouted and made her way towards them.

"You're asking ME!? I should ask YOU idiots! How could you tell Lucy that she's weak!? That you kick her out of the team to add Lisanna!? How could you!?" he shouted as the whole guild grew tense.

"Gray, stop please! Lucy wouldn't want to see you like this!" Levy cried out.

"No, Levy! I won't stop! You know very well that they're the reason that Lucy left! Because of their idiocy Lucy won't come to the guild again! And just because of them!"

In that moment, as these words were shouted, the whole guild grew silent. Was it… true…? Lucy… left?

"Gray… What did you say…?" Erza asked stunned.

"Oh, you heard me right! Lucy left! Lucy won't come again! She left for good! And that just because of you lot! How long went since you last talked with her I wonder!? Three weeks! Everybody was focused with Lisanna that you forgot about Lucy! And then these two here went and kick her out of the team saying that's she's weak!" he shouted growling.

It didn't pass another moment and Natsu ran out the guild doors, with Gray on his trail. "Come back here, flame brain! I didn't finish with you!" he shouted and Erza, Wendy, Levy, Charla and Happy followed the two. The destination was clear, Lucy's apartment. When Natsu reached it, he forgot how to knock and just broke the door with a leg.

"Luuuuuuuucy!" he shouted but there was no answer. He entered and saw the mess in the house. He was stunned, completely stunned. The one who followed was Gray, who didn't react too good seeing the remains of Lucy's crisis. Neither did the girls and exceeds as they were left speechless. It was Levy who found two envelopes addressed to them on the deck.

Levy, Gray, Wendy, Charla,

I hope you'll forgive me for being this selfish… I couldn't bear it anymore. You understand, right? I couldn't continue like that. I love you guys… I don't want you to feel sad so I will continue to write you. As for me, I have no idea where I'm going so I can't tell you yet. But here is one thing I promise you, I'll return. And stronger than now. I hope you will bet on me when I'll challenge Natsu, because you won't lose money.

Thank you… for everything…

With love,

Lucy Heartfilia

The girls, even Charla had now tears in their eyes and Gray hit the desk in frustration. Why didn't he know about this!?

Natsu, Erza,

I hope you're happy now. You get to be with Lisanna in team, but you lose me, forever. I really wanted to continue these days of happiness we spend on jobs and at guild as Team Natsu, you know? Lisanna and I could have become good friends too… but you ruined it all, didn't you? I left because of you, as you wished. I will get stronger meanwhile so you won't be able to call me weak anymore either. You know… I understood that you wanted to become friends with Lisanna again but… you didn't have to neglect the newest friends either… I really hate you now so… rejoice! You're free to do whatever you want without the weak Lucy around you.

Lucy Heartfilia

"Lucy…" the two of them murmured.

"What the hell did I just cause!?" Natsu shouted frustrated.

"Lucy! I'm SO sorry!" Erza cried out as well.

Ok, So I hope you enjoy it.
