A/N: I know that this isn't "FITA," and I DID promise that I'd have it out by the last…several Saturdays…(did that make sense? …no) but it's something to help pass the time for anyone who likes FMA. It was written several months ago…more like about a year… but I just found it again, and I decided to post it so…yeah.

.ONESHOT! ...or not...depends if you actually think I could get away with making it longer...whateva!

Oh god, Mustang had THAT look. That look that was always accompanied with a smirk. He HATED that smirk. Maybe he'd stared too long at the two business-styled envelopes; one red-tinted, one green. But Mustang couldn't have figured it out, could he?

He had tried so hard to keep this hidden, but like his auto mail arm and leg, it always seemed to constantly inhibiting him. Even though it was as obvious as though it were printed on a sign above his head, he tried desperately to keep it clandestine, to the point of avoiding those who began to catch on. There was no way Colonel Horse-butt could've figured it out that fast, even if he DID stare at the two envelopes for nearly 30 seconds. Even Al didn't know.

The smirk.

"Come on, Ed," the Colonel taunted, waving the two envelopes in front of the smaller boy's nose. Ed just gave him a VERY pissed-off look. "The red one goes to Riza, and the green one goes to Hughes, okay? Can you DO that, Ed?"

That smirk…he really hated that smirk.

Ed glared daggers at the two envelopes, wishing them to spontaneously combust. …But that couldn't happen, that was Roy's job. Roy smirked THAT SMIRK evilly.

"Here, Ed, I'll make it easier for you," he said, holding out one of the envelopes, dangling it centimeters from Edward's face. "Bring THIS one to Riza."

That smirk. He should've known…

Ed snatched the envelope out of Roy's slack grasp, his cocky grin appearing immediately. "I knew that, BAKA, I was just fooling with you. You're so gullible, you know."

That smirk.

"Really?" The smirking one asked, an eyebrow raised in question.

"Duh, of course."

That smirk again…

"Then why are you holding Hughes' letter? Surely you can't plan on giving it to RIZA?"

A brief look of puzzlement crossed Ed's face, before he turned red with anger and embarrassment, hurling the envelope at Roy's smirking face.

"You never told me you were colorblind."

Ed pouted and sent a death-glare towards the two envelopes that now lay crumpled on Roy's desk, each a different shade of gray.

A/N: Ha, now THAT was weird… I wrote it at camp, after listening to all their crappy music, there was a song called "colorblind," and it got me thinking…so here's the result. I'll have "FITA" up soon, I'll keep writing it while babysitting, so no worries, I know exactly where it'll go next. Give me a comment or e-mail for any ideas for one-shots or new stories, I'm all up for new ideas, and will work it. Any genre, anime, book, or whatever, just so long as I've seen/read it. .

Ja.
