Loki gasped as the sharp wave of pain tore up his arm. He fell to his knees and gripped his wrist, the papers he had been holding moments before fluttering to the floor. He stared down at his hand, at the blood on it. There was so much blood, too much. He struggled back onto his feet and looked around wildly, before staggering into the next room. His legs were growing weak as the blood continued to pour out. He landed awkwardly on the counter, panting and he moved along it, smearing some blood along the length of it. He had to get to someone for help. Anyone! He had to.
When the counter ended he flopped onto his stomach on the cool tile floor, his eyes growing heavy. He wasn't going to last much longer, his vision began to blur and his breathing quickened. He tried to push himself to his hands and knees, but the strength left his body and he lay motionless. Loki was feeling cold now. This wasn't good.
He honestly hadn't expected to get a wound like this, at least not at this time. He'd thought he was being careful; obviously not as careful as he should have been. The pain had started before the bleeding, and that didn't seem right to Loki.
He took a painful shaky breath and called out his brothers name, his voice cracking from the pain. Thor is there within moments, his eyes wide with panic. He runs over and rolls Loki onto his back, frantically looking him over.
"Brother! What is wrong?" he asks, terror in his eyes.
"Thor…" Loki rasps weakly.
Tears are forming in Thor's eyes. For the life of him he couldn't see what was causing Loki so much pain, so he figured it had to be something within Loki's body. If that was the case, Thor was helpless to save his baby brother.
"Loki, what is wrong?" He tries again, leaning closer.
Loki grimaces in pain and hissed, "I've….I've got…" he struggles to keep his eyes open. With his last bit of strength he holds his wrist out to Thor, and instantly the blonde mans expression changes.
"Damn you, Loki! What the hell is the matter with you?" Thor snarls, jumping to his feet, rage in his eyes. Loki rolls onto his side, holding his wrist and pouting, although it is obvious he is fighting off a smile.
"But, it hurts-" he starts.
"Its just a paper cut, Loki! Grow up!" Thor bellows then stomps out of the room. Loki chuckles and heals his wound, getting up and gathering his papers, however, being even more careful this time around.
Sorry, I had too! XD
