Silent's Birthday
Silent had no idea what was going on, but she some how managed to maintain her... well... silent self.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked, having given up trying to glimpse over the blindfold on her face.
"I told you, it's a secret. You'll see when we get there." Amy and Twilight where practically pushing her to their destination. Silent could hear Twix giggling as well, but seemingly not pushing her.
"You guys know that I could course a bolt of thunder through you at any moment I please, right?"
"Yes, we do. But that would make it hard to remove the blindfold. It's made of static-endorsing material, so unless you want a piece of cloth stuck to your face, just keep walking..." Twilight said through laughter.
Silent sighed and went back to wondering what was going on, and why they practically kidnapped her from her morning walk.
"We're here, Mistress Pushy." Amy taunted, almost to see what the response would be. It was, of course, nothing apart from a lightly-said curse. They took the blindfold off of Silent and she rubbed her eyes to get used to the light of the sun. They where standing in front of Twilight and Mighty's house- as a happily married couple, they had quite a large place, with an outside pool and several rooms, but something was... off. Why did the three girls lead Silent there, and more importantly, where were the others? Usually they were out for walks or at each other's houses. What was going on?
Silent turned to see Twilight looking amused. She then pulled out her phone and pressed a button, summoning the entire team, who came from lots of different directions, including opposite sides of the street, a few from rooftops, and Spark, somehow, from Twilight's mailbox. They all shouted in unison 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'! Silent was startled by this, and Zack approached her first, taking her into Twilight's house. Lining the halls where banners, there was (a lot) of food laid out on tables, and most importantly, the pool had been warmed, so it was like a hot tub more than anything. Zack smiled and hopped into the water, resurfacing to speak to her.
"You told me once, long ago, that the best gift you could ever receive would be a symbol of my love to you. Not a marriage ring... something more permanent than that." He kept talking as Twix and Destiny hopped into the water, splashing themselves, and Twilight sat down on a towel with Mighty to sunbathe. "So... I got you this." He retrieved a small yellow box from the back pocket of his swimming shorts. Of course, it was waterproof. He extended his arm, and she took it, opening it up to find a ring, with her name written around it's edge. It felt almost warming.
"It's made of Iridium, the hardest material available in Mobius. It will never break... Like my love for you."
Silent smiled and leaped into the pool with him, cuddling with him to say thanks, while everyone else enjoyed the water and sun.
Happy Birthday, Silent! I'm fairly certain this story came out late, but... Never late than never, right? So, I guess now Silent has a little thing from Zack that will be with her forever. AAAAW! X3
