I was sitting on the sand drawing a picture of us, the sun was shining, the waves were moving, it was a beautiful afternoon.

I always come outside on the beach and draw, it relaxes me, he always likes my drawings.

There was feet steps that were heard.

I hear foot steps, I truned my head, and it was him. He didn't look very happy, he looked sad.

"Namine, I have something to tell you," said Roxas as he sat next to her.

I put my sketchbook down on my lap, and I put the pencil down, I looked at him. "What's wrong?"

"I'm leaving to go in the Organization, " replied Roxas.

I knew this day would come, he told me all about the Organization. My tears fell from my cheeks down to my neck. "I can't believe your going."

Roxas wrapped an arm around her. "I promise I'll come back, and I promise that I'd set Kingdom Hearts free, and I'll be back home."

He promised me all that? I'm gonna miss him. "I'm going to miss you."

Roxas wipped her tears off of her face with his other arm. "Me too."

"When are you leaving? " Asked Namine.

"I don't leave, I fade in the darkness, " said Roxas.

I sit here and wait for him to fade away. "How can you tell when you fade?"

"I'll feel it in my body," replied Roxas.

"Oh, so it could be today?" Asked Namine.

"Yes." Roxas' arm fell off of Namine, he fell in her lap, he could feel himself fading away.

"R-Roxas, what's happing?" Asked Namine.

"I'm fading away," said Roxas.

He's in my lap, I just can't believe he's fading in my lap, I may not see him again, but I know what he promised me. "Roxas." I keep calling his name.

"Namine, I love you," said Roxas. I look at her for the last time, then I start to fade away right in her lap.

Roxas was now gone. Namine heard the last words of Roxas, I love you. She cried, but all she has now is his memories, and his last words.

I'll never forget what he promised me. I looked at my unfinished picture, and my tears fell on the drawing. He won't be able to see any of my drawings again. I stood up from the ground, and I walked away from the sopt where we were, I was heading to my house.

As I walked on my porch of my house, the memories of him and I appeared in my mind. From the day we meant, and to the day he left. I walked in the house, and I headed to my room, I laid on my bed, holding the unfinished picture close to my chest, and the tears just kept on running down my face really fast.

I closed my eyes, all this crying made me tired. I will always remember what he promised me. I know he will come back, I just know it.
