Falling From Grace
AU: Hey...I should be writing the next chapter to one of my stories, but I got this idea and couldn't put it down. Kind of angsty, but I really do like the idea. Its short, so beware. But it was SO worth it. :D

At some point Lloyd had forgotten to shut the stove off. He could smell the burning kettle of boiling water from his upstairs room. Walking down them (the stairs), he quickly put out the fire beneath the stove. Though he couldn't bring himself to make any tea at the moment. He walked over to a chair sitting by a lone table and sat down, sighing.
He lived alone. Dirk had passed quite some time ago. Along with everyone else he used to know. The village had changed, it had a new mayor, lots of new villagers, and a new and bigger school. Raine and Genis had moved away a long time ago, wanting to go to Palmacosta so Genis could study.
It had been almost one hundered years since their journey had taken place. Everyone he knew was gone.
He decided to go shopping.
Walking into village, he noticed, as he did everytime, how much everything had changed. The village was at least three times is size. There were many more houses and stores. Even a bigger chapel that was actually inside the village. He walked to a small supplies shop near the enterance. There was sign above the door, it read, "Halo". The same name as the old item shop that used to take up residance in Iselia.
He ended up buying some bread, cheese and meat so he could have lunch. He decided to have a picnic at his and Zelos' old favorite spot to sit. On the cliff right in front of the old Human Ranch. It had the most beautiful view of the forest surrounding it.
Sitting there reminded him of his long dead lover. He munched on his sandwich for a bit before making a split second desicion.
All he remembered before he hit the ground was Zelos' face, staring up at him from below.
He was smiling.
