I've wanted to write a Thunderbirds story for ages, but haven't had the time. For the past week or two I've been experimenting with drabbles. Please bear in mind that this is my first exploration into this fandom. This is a mixture of movie and TV verse. Any reviews would be appreciated, constructive criticism is always welcome.
One
He watches as his youngest brother sleeps, and he thinks about all the things he must have missed whilst up in space. Scott and Virgil had kept him posted, but it wasn't the same. He hadn't been there to see Alan win at Sports Day, he hadn't been there when Alan had been bullied at school, or when he'd went on his first date. When he had come down from Thunderbird Five he had been shocked at how tall he was becoming. Now, watching him sleep he realises that he had somehow missed his baby brother turning into a man.
Two
Gordon knows he's lucky as he walks along the beach with his brothers. Two years ago he had been told by doctors that he would never walk again. He had believed them, had given up, and then Alan had come home from school in the middle of the term, insisting that he was needed. He had helped Gordon with his physio, helped him through the pain. When Gordon had progressed to crutches Alan had walked next to him, catching him when he fell, a lifeline. He owes it all to his youngest brother. Alan begins to run, and Gordon follows.
