I smiled watching my children and husband playing baseball. Emmett kept accusing Edward and Alice of cheating using her foresight and his mind reading to their advantage. Edward and Alice vehemently denied the allegations, but I had my suspicions. My oldest son had a twinkle in his eye and I know how crafty Alice can be.

Rose was up to bat with Emmett shouting, "Hit me a homerun baby!" Carlisle, my vampire husband, was smirking at our children's antics as he waited his turn to bat. Jasper and Edward were having a silent conversation from across field. Alice winded up the pitch, but before letting it go, she was thrown into a vision.

Alice squealed and began to bounce. Her exuberance effected Jasper, my empathy of a son and her mate.

"What did you see darlin'," Jasper asked smiling through his southern drawl.

"Why are you blocking me by singing Barbie Girl in your head Alice?" Edward questioned.

Alice was literally jumping up and down, "We're going to have visitors! Two other vampires and they want to become vegetarians!"

My husband's eyes lit up at this, "Really that's wonderful news Alice are they looking for someone to train them?"

Alice nodded.

"When will they be here Alice," I asked.

"In thirty seconds they heard us playing baseball!" Alice said as she turned around the rest of us followed her gaze to where two brunette vampires stepped out of the trees, one male, one female. They looked remarkably alike and I wondered if they were related biologically. Edward turned to me and nodded slightly.

The girl was looking demurely to the ground her long tresses shadowing her face and the male put on a friendly smile.

"Hello, my name is Laurent and this is my great niece, Isabella, the man said gesturing to himself and then his niece.
