It was a normal day like any other at the BAU. Everyone seemed occupied in finishing writing up their reports in order to head home. The way that every member of the team knew that they could rely and trust each other showed the care they held for each other.

JJ headed for her office. She shut the door to keep the freezing cold out. Winter had eventually came. Throwing snowballs and making snow men were the ideal things on your to do list. However, it all changed for JJ when she became an adult or particularly when she got a job in the BAU. Her eyes showed the stress and energy that the job demanded. It wasn't anything that JJ couldn't handle. Soccer was practically equal when it came to demanding energy but her job required high amounts of focus. The strain on her mind began to wash away as she relaxed in the chair behind the wooden desk. The warmth from the radiator filled the room. The feeling was no less than a massage. To be honest, all that JJ could imagine doing right now is relaxing on the sofa watching her favourite programme whilst drinking hot chocolate.

A vacation seemed like a brilliant idea. An idea that was very soon forgotten by every team of the member as there more than dozens of criminals that needed to face the punishment for the crimes they committed. The thought of a holiday was soon pushed away as the phone rang. JJ quickly snapped out of her thoughts and picked up the phone. It was Hotch. Her unit chief rang her. That was very unexpected as Hotch barely rings unless it is a really important matter.

JJ made her way to her chief's office. Hotch was already out of his office. He told JJ, "Gather the rest of the team in the meeting room". JJ turned around and briskly stepped down the stairs informing the rest of the team members to make their way up there immediately". Lots of questions arose in each member's minds. Many questions but no answers.

Morgan sat between Rossi and JJ at the round table. Garcia and Emily sat down together followed by Reid. Hotch was the last to come in. The stern look on his face made everybody worry. Hotch rarely showed emotions and at times none. It was difficult enough to see a smile upon his face.

Hotch cleared his throat so everyone knew he was about to speak. What was so important? Did the rest of the team need to worry? Find out in the next chapter. Please review so that I know what to change if this is a bad story because it is my first fanfiction.
