For those of you who read my story Trapped, I'm sorry I haven't updated it this week. With Halloween this week, I've been a bit busy. This story is a bit AU but not really, there's just a few things that I know aren't true, but I wrote this for English class, so yeah. Anyway, I'll let you get on with the story. Sorry it's so short. Please read and review!

Disclaimer: I will never own Durarara!

He was human. At least they thought he was. At times, they just couldn't tell. He would act like any human would, but then something would happen and he would do something completely humanly impossible. Like throwing a 2 ton truck.

And suddenly, they weren't quite sure anymore. He would get this glint in his eyes that would make them think he was some kind of demon. The next day, he would be human again: helping old women across the street and repairing any damage done around the neighborhood with a certain kindness to him. And then, they were so sure that he was, in fact, human.

That there was nothing weird or peculiar about him. There was no way the rumors about this man was true. He couldn't be the strongest man in Ikebukuro. He couldn't be a monster.

Then the very next minute, just like that, they were off wondering what exactly possessed them to think that he was human, that he was normal.

But he was human…Wasn't he?
