"What the…" I gasped as a black hood was slipped over my head.
"What…"
"Help!"
I could hear my friends spluttering in shock. I guess their vision was a black hole like mine.
'No' I thought frantically to myself as something sweet edged itself into my nose. 'Hold your breath.' A voice in my head told me, but it was to late, I slipped into a deep sleep of nothingness.
…
"Ouch…" I mumbled coming to.
"What the heck?" I heard Brain ask.
"Ugh, I feel like Crap," I heard Jesse mumble.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I don't know," Jesse said.
"Em, what's happening?" I heard Maryland ask from the corner.
"We don't know," I told her.
"Guys," Brain said nervously, "we're moving."
To prove it, we hit a pothole in the road and the four of us were jostled about.
It was then, that I noticed my wrists and ankles were bound together.
"This is really bad," I moaned.
"Well thank you Captain Obvious," Brain spat.
"Yeah but look at your wrists and ankles," I told them, and they did.
"We're on a highway," Maryland said quietly.
"But what does…oh," Jesse said.
…
"They're taking out of the state," Maryland said you could tell she was fighting the urge to breakdown. (The highway led right out of the state and into Michigan)
"If we really are headed to Michigan, we have a long ride a head of us," Jesse said.
