So this is a maddian one shot, tell me if you think later on I should put this into my series or not.
Maddy POV:
Yesterday Rhydian finally came back, I was so happy. He also got his hair cut and he is staying with us. Although yesterday we were chased by Alric, the wild pack leader, and it was pretty scary. To make matters worse Alrics daughter Jana showed up this morning and joined our school. All day I saw the look that Rhydian gave her, like he had a crush on her or something. After we left for school this morning me mum and dad went to Devon to visit some family and left me and Rhydian alone for the night or maybe two.
That night at midnight
Third persons POV:
Maddy screamed and shot up in her bed. She was dreaming about Alric and that he got her and the last thing she saw and herd was Rhydian and Jana. They were holding hands and he said:
"Maddy, you really thought I liked you, well I don't, I love Jana." And that is when she woke up.
Within seconds of her scream Rhydian rushed through the door of her room. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue pajama pants.
"Mads what's wrong?" he asked as he saw her sitting up in her bed breathing heavily.
"It's nothing, it was just a dream." She said still shaken up.
"Oh, well do you want to talk about it?" Rhydian asked in reply. Maddy just shook her head no. "Ok, and remember its only a dream," he said while putting his hand on the door knob and turning to leave.
"Wait!" Maddy said quickly. Rhydian took his hand off the door and turned to her.
"Yeah?"
"Will you stay with me" Maddy asked quietly. She didn't expect him to answer so quickly and she didn't expect this to be his answer.
"Of course I will Mads." He walked over to the side of her bed and was about to sit on the floor when Maddy moved over and patted the mattress.
"You can sleep here if you want it's more comfortable." She said meekly. He hesitated for a second but than climbed under the sheets. Maddy's bed was small so he moved her so she was practically lying on top of him. She put her head on his chest and had her hand in front of her face. He could feel her shaking because she was still all riled up.
"Its ok Mads, I'm right here" he said softly and took her hand in his. After a few seconds she calmed down and fell asleep.
An hour later
Rhydian woke up to another shriek and saw Maddy sitting up breathing really heavily again.
"Mads, please tell me what's wrong." He said taking her hands into his. The only difference from her waking before is that now she is crying. She had the same dream and it ended the same way.
"I… I had a dream… the- that Alric was chasing us… b-but he… he got me… a-and y-you and Jana… were j-just watching… and… and…" she stuttered through the tears and started to fully break down at this point.
"and…" Rhydian said looking into her eyes.
"And you said you hated me and loved her." She then burst into tears. Rhydian pulled her into a hug and stroked her hair.
"That would never happen." He said to her.
"Yes it would. I've seen the way you look at her, you love her." She mumbled into his shirt. He pulled her away from him and looking deep into her eyes.
"if I loved her would I do this?" he then leaned in and kissed her for the first time. When he pulled away Maddy looked at him and then kissed him back but this time harder. When they broke apart they rested their foreheads together.
"I love you Mads." Rhydian said without realizing it. He started to worry until Maddy replied.
"I love you too." She said.
"Come on its one in the morning." He said pulling her down. She then nuzzled back up onto his chest and they fell asleep.
