Challenge Accepted?
Story: Dumbledore is the actual bad guy and has been framing Tom Marvolo Riddle aka Lord Voldemort for years. All Tom wants is to better prepare muggle borns and half-bloods for the magical world. He also wants to prevent other cases like his own childhood. Dumbledore was the one to attack the Potter's, who are not dead but in a stasis that prevents starvation or comprehension of the world around them, because the house was spelled to protect those who were in harm. As a result of the protection, and those who knew about it being obliviated of the information, no one will help them until Harry's fourth year. Tom tried to help so that is why he disappeared.
